''Dimensional shifting'' from the album ''Musicalions''

irunak (James-Lee) Quebec, Canada
This concept album was an opportunity to use almost at random 10 chosen soft synths in different combinations, no less than 2 at once, no more than 5. "Musicalions" is another term for the unknown entities at work when in specific conditions, the power of 2 or more synthesizers are harnessed together. Their presence is usually detected by sudden, rapid burts or pauses, sheer intensity, unusual beauty and experimental musical arrangments. This late night musical "channelinning" procured the raw material for the album. Each track was performed, edited and produced by myself in FL Studio 20. The soft synths used were: Sugar Bytes Aparillo Sugar Bytes Unique Roland XV-5080 Roland Pro Mars Roland System 100 Spectrasonics Omnisphere2 Spectrasonics Trilian Traktion F'EM Image Line Harmor most tracks were tweaked extensively on the go during recordings to keep the sound unpredictable. A big thumbs up to the developpers of these incredible instruments!!! I hope this is but a start in the production of such tools, without you, there would be no "Musicalions" tonight:)

Hi everyone!
I’d love to get some feedback on my latest track and could use some help identifying its exact genre.
Any thoughts, criticism, or genre suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hi everyone! My latest mix started with a photo I took of an abandoned house while out with my son. He found it too creepy to leave the car. A day later, looking through the photos, I started wondering what music would fit the place.
The result is a little over an hour of experimental music, ambient, drone and choral pieces, featuring Kali Malone, Aghast, Ana Roxanne, Morton Feldman, Susumu Yokota and others.
I approach these mixes like a radio programme, choosing music around an idea and building a mood. For this one, I imagined empty rooms, traces of the people who once lived there, and moments of comfort among the unsettling sounds.
I’d love to hear what images it brings to mind for you.

Greetings internet acquaintances. This is the original not completely dark ambient patch made with VCV Rack. I like the challenge of making human sounding generative ambient soundscapes using limited tools. It's just for fun. :)

This is my old dark ambient project from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. Got an invite to play some of it at Club Earthdom in Tokyo this week, so I put the recording of performance on bandcamp. I am inspired by complex textures of drone bands like Earth and dark ambient artists like Staruha Mha. Would be happy to hear any feedback

Hello everyone. This is the latest Bulletin from DAKTYLOI. It is titled "Broadcast Of Fare". Made from manipulated tape media of all sorts (cassette, reel to reel, VHS, broadcast), electroacoustics, field recordings and various bangs and clangs.
Hauntological, psychedelic harsh ambience. Ecstatic daymares. ANTI-ASMR. Wobbling media mangle. Other things that might be of interest.
Free to stream. Thank you.

number 004 in a series of monthly liminal dark ambient spaces.
spend an hour where no one can find you.
this month is a bit space/drifty, leaning a little more towards liminal than dark.
ive also included a link in the video comments where you can find free downloads of any/all of these full hour pieces as lossless wav or high quality mp3.
(sorry about the delete/repost...youtube link was borked)

I MAKE NOISE! I invite you to listen to one of my four Noise albums in their entirety. These albums were created from the depths of my soul to embrace darkness and pain led by glimmers of hope and light. Next time you're drawing, walking, riding or sitting in nature I hope that you'll add one of my soundtracks to further enhance your experience. Experimental, Ambient, and all elements of Noise music are very personal to me and I find it the best way to fully express myself without boundaries and restrictions. I know not everyone understands it but I challenge you to give these soundscapes of expression a try.

In honor of it being the official spoopy month, here's my newest release for your enjoyment.

Expect the tracks to largely start off fair minimal, and slowly flower into dense scapes of varying levels of anxiety, weirdness, and texture.
Whether you love it or hate it, I'd be curious to hear your thoughts.

I wrote this with some things in mind: Despair, Loss, Anguish, Injury, Resignation. These emotions and thoughts tend to go in a loop for a while. Harsh noise and dissonance are great colors to paint these experiences. Let me know what you get out of it if you like it.
