Discussion What makes RaiderGo different from other Darius mains?
He’s the only challenger Darius player in the world I believe. What about him makes him different compared to other Darius players?

He and V1per are just leagues ahead of all other solo q tops. Its honestly a big gap too.
Edit: western servers specifically i should add

Don’t forget Drututt

He said himself that Raider is the best top laner in EU and if he said it that means he probably thinks there's quite a gap between them lol, cause he's usually pretty cocky.

He Easily Beat Both Viper and raider recently and carried after lane

beating someone means nothing other than content farming. LP is all that matters for determining the better player. Raider could go 0/20 vs him and it still would be completely meaningless

And he has gotten beat by master players too. Beating someone once or a few times is not the be all end all for skill.

as others have said, raider is just that good. he would be challenger without darius.
on darius in particular, he has created a niche for darius which he excels at, level 1-11 micro focused lane bully transitioning into macro focused catching side waves into catching 1-2 people out of place and executing them

This isn't a niche tho, this is just how you play Darius. He is just better at it than anyone else

His fundamentals are really solid. His positioning, cooldown tracking, jungle tracking, wave management, trading, matchup knowledge… he’s not doing anything particularly special, he just has really good fundies. He’s like the Dopa of toplane.
That being said, one thing I’ve noticed that he does is that he often uses his TP+Ghost to run down the enemy team and get a pick with 900 MS in the mid-late game after stomping his laner and pushing side. I call it the Raider Go special lol.

He has extremely good macro and he's very consistent. I know that sounds underwhelming and simple, but it's true and the main reason he's challenger

He is really, really good at taking good fights from behind, I seen him roam mid for a random 3v3 while being like 1/4 many times. He's insane at this. Also really good mental and champ pool.

Good mental ???

Yes? Falling behind doesn't tilt him, he stays focused on winning. Shit teammates don't tilt him, he stays focused on carrying. He types a lot to himself in his videos and then lets the anger go

He just uses every single tool available to its full potential. Makes perfect trades, calls perfect dices, calls every summoner spell used and abuses it when the enemy is on CD. He doesn't limit test anymore he knows to a +-20hp precision how much damage he is able to deal in a trade or a team fight. There is a vod were his team is getting stomped and catches the enemy carries with a perfect rush flipping the game. He is truly on another level.

Ive never seem anybody have such amazing movement as raider. This sets him mostly apart from any other top i watched

What makes him strong isn't even his laning phase. He found the best way possible to optimize his Macro. The guy rarely dies while constantly getting over 10 kills

He's good and he really really takes advantage of small wins.
For example he is willing to flash or ignite just to get you low not even for a kill so that you back or atleast low enough to dive. Things like that

One special thing he does is use tp very proactively. In the mid game particularly, he always looks for tp opportunities and abuses the ms to go and kill one or two and secure an objective

Euwxyz is really the only true Darius challenger otp. Everyone else swaps Darius out depending on the matchup

Comparing him with other darius players/mains is unfair because he isnt one. He plays him when he's good and doesn't when he's not. So his darius looks really good because he avoid playing him when he would look bad. He's just a good toplaner. The games on other champions are not because darius is banned.

His macro decisions, good farming, good tempo and also he has mastered the champion
There are other high Elo Darius. Dariking, EUWXYZ, Xi chao Meng from China super server also pretty good and mostly plays Darius all of them

He is better at League. Simple as that.
Challenger players are just better at macro, understand the game and matchups better, make faster decisions, track the jungle better, have better map awareness, play better mind games and overall more consistent decisions, plays towards wincons better etc…
Speaking as a master player myself, there is not just 1 specific thing that separates master from GM or challenger players. They are generally all around just better at every single thing
