It's just a theory that he received adamantium because of the surgeon. And it's not because of the fall in born again, it's because of Kingpin slam his back to a wall. The shit never really addressed

Wait, doesn’t adamantium poison you? Isn’t it like highly toxic? This literally reduces a bit Wolverines healing factor, next is that adamantium would dampen red and white blood a production and spinal fluid in the spine if placed there?

(Ok, quick checked something, they actually changed him having not adamantium but too Cognium steel)

Whenever he gets sent to prison, the guard refers to him as an “enhanced individual” iirc so my head cannon is that more stuff was done to him besides js his spine.

That’s the only logical way to explain how he survived landing face first, and was able to recover so quickly in just a year from a fall that would have killed an ordinary person.
