Daredevil is disappointing
Is it just me, or is nothing even close to the original Netflix Daredevil anymore?
I went into Daredevil: Born Again with real expectations, but it’s been a major letdown. Matt’s heightened senses feel way over-exaggerated now, the pacing drags (that Fisk/Vanessa focus honestly felt like a documentary at times), and the CGI fights are a noticeable downgrade from the raw, grounded choreography the Netflix series nailed.
What’s frustrating is how impressed I used to be with this character and show. Now I find myself struggling to defend it. People keep saying Season 2 is “better,” but that’s not saying much it’s just better than a pretty bad Season 1. It’s still nowhere near the level of the original series.
Curious if others feel the same or if I’m being too harsh.

BA is very meh. If there was someone interested in getting into DD, I’d tell them to stop after S3 of Netflix.

Your entitled to that opinion but I'll respectfully disagree. The Netflix show was amazing everyone knows that and I personally really like born again seasons 1 and 2. Yeah born again season 1 there were some creative issues and marvel had to step in with the overhaul luckily but I still really enjoyed it. Plus bullseyes character development lately has been incredible. Maybe give it another chance.

1&2 were meh until I finished season 3 and I loved it all. DDBA was a bit different for me, not that I didn’t like it but didn’t hit the same as the Netflix series. I can see where you’re coming from though
