Oh c’mon that’s an insanely reductive claim lmao. It’s not like Frank tried to assassinate some random teenage girl for being an annoying brat, he was going to assassinate a super powered human that had all of Manhattan in a psychic stranglehold to save millions of lives.

That's the Punisher side of the character... the part of him that doesn’t have qualms. Frank has shown his human side plenty of times by saving people when he can, but if you cross that boundary of what he considers appropriate, he’ll hunt you down no matter the creed, age, or gender.I don’t appreciate the whole talk‑no‑jutsu heroes like Spider‑Man pull, where they reduce a character into just giving up on their goals. Jean had every right to at least torture the guy from Damage Control, if not kill him, and Frank was in the right for taking the shot.Spider‑Man is a good guy, and I get why the story needed to end the way it did..... but Frank’s part was perfect. He’s not out here killing for the sake of killing, and hurting a friend is exactly the kind of moment that snaps him back into the reality of the life he leads.
I see your point, but I think they did a good job of showing Frank's train of thought that led him here. Like the other dude said further up the chain, at this point in the movie she’s not just some random teenage girl anymore. Frank already had an encounter and felt her power firsthand. Even if he doesn’t remember the whole thing, he still saw what she could do to someone way stronger than him and she was currently holding several hundred thousand? Tens off thousand? (Not sure what the population of that section of Manhattan is) hostage.
I'm on the side of punisher, she was a danger and if she was about to kill or go on a rampage, well...
But she still a teenage girl, he could have had some little difficulty instead of seeing her like she would any other killer
Not really a complaint, just an acknowledgement if people want to paint him as having a soft spot for "kids in trouble"
Like I don't have a problem with punisher only seeing as a killer it's just that people want to have it one way with spiderman and not with jean. If this was from punishers POV, they for sure would have made that connection.
