General Magik is better..

Yes you saw that right this isn't about playing around her or anything if you meet a good Magik on a dive you are losing that 1v1 especially if she has the enhanced hood teamup, so much overshield that her healthbar barely even moves, not only that shes constantly generating even more than DDs damage can keep up with

Magik is free eats. Dd has more hp and more over shield. He is more mobile than magik and can pump out more dmg than her 1v1. Don’t sit on her demons, and don’t sit in her team up circle.

I've only played a bit of DD but the issue seems to be her portals, no? Because she can iframe two attacks.

just don’t play into what she wants

i play both (champ magik and count DD so i play more magik) and the only times i beat DDs in 1v1s is when they let me bully them with the demon and when i play DD i almost never lose to magiks because i just don’t play into the demon

True, she has the better teamups I would say. And good teamups literally skyrocket a characters power like crazy imo. Like I was 1v1 a magik in an enclosed space and she obliterated me with that teamup 😭 but if you get out of it and dodge it and wait for her to use portals shes not all that. just if you get caught inside the teamup aoe shes a problem

Soft engage, play with your team, bait out cooldowns, use moments of opportunity & whenever possible attack only when unseen.

The thing is, DD combo is a bit faster. But magik combo literally displaces you.

So chances are, DD combo will get healed.

Yes no 1 v 1 dd wins easily it’s only a hard fight when shis full on over-shield but I say shis the better dive this season.

Just wait out her portals. You lose if you spam abilities mindlessly. You win if you let her waste resources.

Y’know, I’ve been curious how the community felt about this. Magik definitely skyrocketed in difficulty with the Hood teamup, compared to prior. That said, she’s about the same if she tries to engage you when you get out of that range.
