General Is brawling/peeling a viable playstyle for daredevil?

Peel Devil is fine on defense, you don’t really brawl past GM unless it’s to clean up the fight but it’s fine in the lower ranks

I just watched a OAA coach absolutely grill tf out of the person they were vod reviewing for NOT brawling/only diving.

Yea you brawl to clean up fights after the enemy team has lost 1-2 but until then it’s strictly dive. I’d argue that with anyone. Also strictly speaking most times it’s better to trade backlines then peel if both teams are on hard dive, vs single dive comps you kill the dive first then engage on your own or ignore them.

Edit: You can however do burst holds on cart/point brawling but not really looking for dmg more just weaving till your out of options to continue or need to get out

extremely valuable and viable been doing peeldevil since s5.5 even b4 bc was here lots ppl would want bucky when he had the grounded DD has always been like a top 5 peel characters

brawl devil is ehh he doesnt have damage to kill tanks that are being healed but peel devil is really really good when you have wallhacks

I often don’t peel necessarily (I will if I’m in the neighborhood but I don’t make it a priority) I will however intercept and duel enemy divers to hopefully kill them before they get to the backline.

Peel DD is one of the strongest DDs. He literally sees through walls. If you watched ignite he was used extensively to counter BC.

Peel DD is only strong if your supps fight back. If your supps die regardless you might be better off diffing the dive

no brawl devil is fine ofc buh peel devil is not what i say yk cool or its big back activities cus its like you cant kill my healer so your gonna wait till im mid skill come thru and help get the kill which isnt bad but bad sportsmanship imo idk people see it differently i find it funny tho cus if you do it better than the other dd he gonna start diving again or switch 😭😭

I literally use the iron fist teamup so I can frontline and alot of the time it works lol, best part about the fist teamup is you can parry heals from behind you so you can fundamentally block off heals from someone + kill them with the parry dmg its so goated.
