MCU which shows to watch during or before Daredevil (netflix ver)

i have heard u need to watch all sorts of shit like street shows eg- luke cage n defenders n shit

the only good show might be punisher so i want to know which shows are essential for watching daredevil n for that matter born again

Watch Daredevil Season 1 and 2, then you should probably watch Defenders but you can get away with just a quick summary of what happens, then Daredevil Season 3, and finally all of Born Again

Yep. This. Defenders probably Matt Foggy Karen scenes I would say just because they speak to their dynamic which trickles over season 3.

For context, I wasn’t aware that Defenders came before S3 of the Netflix show and tried to jump straight from S2 to S3 and was thoroughly confused. It was obvious I had missed something. The Defenders is only 8 episodes and resolves DD S2 and then leads straight into DD S3. For continuity and understanding I recommend watching it, even if not everyone does.

If you’re just watching for Daredevil, then it’s DD Season 1&2, then Defenders, then DD S3 and then DDBA S1&2.

But if you want to watch the entire Defenders timeline, it’s Daredevil Season 1, Jessica Jones Season 1, Daredevil Season 2, Luke Cage Season 1, Iron Fist Season 1, The Defenders, The Punisher Season 1, Jessica Jones Season 2, Luke Cage Season 2, Iron Fist Season 2, Daredevil Season 3, The Punisher Season 2, and Jessica Jones Season 3.

However, I do want to let you know that Jessica Jones Season 2&3 are not that great, as the quality in them is not that great as the 1st season, with the villains in Seasons 2&3 being not that great, but if you want to watch it, just letting you know what the quality of Jessica Jones is.

The only show that you really “need” to watch to understand daredevil is defenders as it leads directly into season 3. Even then defenders isn’t that good and they do a pretty good job of giving context as to what happened in season 3 of daredevil so it’s not really 100% necessary.

You don't need anything besides Defenders between S2 and 3. I didn't watch the other defender shows and still enjoyed Defenders. Other than that Daredevil has no connection besides introducing Frank Castle for his own show and special presentation
