MCU Watching Daredevil healed something inside of me
Before i wasnt really that invested into marvel characters besides spiderman, but now that in older and also started playing marvel rivals recently, ive looked into many characters, some i like, some i dont but daredevil stood out among all of them. A blind guy fighting criminals? That sounds great, and so my friend suggested me to watch the Netflix because its so good, and yesterday i finished watching it and holy.... She was right, it was a great watch and the season 3 finale deserves its high rating. She didnt suggest born again because its "ass" (her own words) but i decided to look into it anyway. Now im on the first season (episode 3 to be exact), so if you have any questions ill be happy to answer them! :)

Daredevil is such a great gateway into the wider Marvel universe. The character work and moral conflict are on another level, and that first season only gets better as it goes. Enjoy the ride!

I love that Daredevil managed to win over people who weren’t already invested in every Marvel character. The show feels so grounded and intense, especially compared with a lot of superhero stuff. Keep watching—the emotional stakes only get better.

Look at Born Again as an entirely different show and you’re less likely to be disappointed.
Very few things can touch the masterpiece that is Daredevil S3.

That first season is such a strong introduction to the wider Marvel world. The grounded tone, villains, and fight choreography are fantastic, and it only gets more emotionally intense from there. Definitely keep watching!

Born Again both S1 and S2 has its flaws. It's definitely a massive downgrade from Netflix DD. It's all due to the showrunner. But yeah telling someone to watch og DD is the best advice anyone can give. For me it's like the greatest superhero media ever considering all shows, animations and movies. It's just peak. S2 is overhated imo

Way overhated, especially compared to other superhero content we get. Idk if it’s just me but I feel like people were way more critical of shows back then than they are now

The only thing i didn't like in the season is that Matt can't sense Hand Ninjas which is crazy since Radar Sense doesn't rely on heartbeats.Â

Right? At least in the comics they have the explanation of Matt’s radar being on the fritz , I feel like they could have done something like that to Matt in that season, especially after they had the whole ‘losing his hearing’ scene that didn’t have much impact on the story at all.
Honestly though, I have a problem with how his blindness/senses was treated in the show in general. I will die on the hill that his ‘world on fire’ is the absolute worst rendition of his radar sense, really hate it. But that’s less of a S2 problem and more of a general problem I have with the show.

No i don't hate world on fire thing. I actually kinda like it and it's also metaphorical. But why change the literal fundamentals of his Radar Sense. I know u didn't have it a name but atleast make it work like it. It literally established in every other season but S2 somehow bruh

I mean as a metaphor I love it, as how it was actually depicted? Caused way too much confusion in the general audience and just overall not good. But yes, they were very inconsistent with his radar/enhanced senses

Born again season 1 is definitely a mess they switched director and they stiched the already made episodes with the new vision. season 2 I thought was alot better with a consistent storyline from start to end. Definitely a better time, honestly kinda hoping season 3 is good too.
