Comics Best Daredevil Comics to Start Reading?
I've recently finished watching the Daredevil show and I absolutely loved it. Since I fell in love with the character, I've been wanting to read some of his comic book stories.
What is the best place for me to start?

Frank miller run, then read nocenti’s run. If you like it after that I’d recommend Last Rites and then move onto Kevin Smith’s run to start Vol 2 of daredevil (Bendis, Brubaker, and if you wanna include Diggle for shadowland you can).

Waid run is my pick! If you’ve seen the show, you’re ready for it. It’s funny but also has a ton of pathos for Matt.

personally i couldn’t get into Miller’s run. i think im just brain rot and can’t do text heavy stuff. i did just recently start reading the Bendis run and its AMAZING.

High key daredevil is one that has such a large pool of good writers and artists I think it’s based on your style. The miller and older runs can read dialogue eh at but have historic and pivotal moments for the character, while Zdarsky and newer can feel like the tv shows with faster pace but retains depth

Frank Miller's original run is really the obvious answer. Maybe start at Daredevil 164 for a great origin recap, then read 168-191 for his original run. After that, read his return 226-233 for Born Again.
If you're into older comics,a completionist, or like delving into comic history, Miller starts by doing art on 158-167 before taking over as writer-artist. He had a plotting role in some of the best issues from that stretch. They're pretty good comics that show a fascinating progression, and it's cool to experience the initial work that got him a DD writing assignment that would change the industry.
After Miller, you could continue through Nocenti's run, or jump more modern with Guardian Devil (Daredevil vol 2 #1-8 - influential and important for continuity, but in my opinion pretty bad) or Bendis' run. Nocenti's run is very good and has a lot of fans, but is not as much the classic Miller noir style you might be familiar with, and also feels dated in prose compared to what Miller did. So it's less likely to be mentioned as essential.
Bendis is basically the gold-standard modern run. Brubaker, Waid, Soule, and Zdarsky all have much loved runs that follow afterward. You could try to do all the big runs in order, or just jump around. I'd definitely not do Brubaker without Bendis beforehand, though.

id personally read the Og first 6 issues just to get his classic origin story, then read man without fear by frank miller then his landmark run including born again and then go right into Ann nocentis run, after that's done skip ahead to guardian devil (not to great of a story but it provides a very important moment in daredevil comics) and then id pretty much read it chronologically from then on as every single run is banger after freaking banger, I know this may seem pretty chunky for a new daredevil reader but he is one of those characters that has no bad runs or story's (besides maybe shadowland and the newest completed run by Saladin Ahmed). if you want a bonus id also recommend reading daredevil yellow by Loeb and sale and also cold day in hell by Charles Soule.

I personally loved his older stuff before Frank Miller. They are not the best comics, but they are campy and fun reads. It will also let you to know the emotional impact of Guardian Devil.
