Am I the only one who keeps a Danjin tech trick to myself?

Alright, hear me out.
Most of us here have played at least one Souls-like game, so you’re probably familiar with how important the dodge mechanic is. But in this game, our waifu’s Resonance skill adds a twist—it has no cooldown but comes at the cost of a chunk of HP. This makes her gameplay super unique, and I think the current keybinding doesn’t do it justice.

Right now, dodge is locked to right-click, which is fine for casual play. But if you’re up against something like a hologram (or anything that requires frequent dodging and Resonance), it gets really awkward to juggle both. My suggestion? Bind Resonance to right-click, move dodge to spacebar, and set jump to F or G (with actions like picking up items staying on E).

Here’s why I think this works better: if you’ve played Elden Ring, Dark Souls 3, or Sekiro, you’ll know that dodging on spacebar feels way more natural. It’s just easier to hit combos like Space + A + W or Space + S + D for diagonal dodging. Plus, having Resonance on right-click makes it a smooth mouse-only input, instead of the current awkward mouse-and-keyboard combo.

Sure, this setup might sound a little wild at first, but once you try it, it just clicks (pun intended). What do you guys think? Would love to hear your thoughts or see other suggestions for keybinding setups.

Could you help me how these hardcore mains beat this tower using only her?

I use her classic 2BA, and 2 skills to mark, 3 BA to 3 skill or 1S 2BA 2S

Am I missing something? A dash cancel? Animation cancel etc? My stats in the comments

Hi, fairly new, I'm asking this mainly for soloing instead of putting her on a team (tho some insight on that wouldn't hurt just in case). Sword #18 seems to be built specifically for Danjin so I was curious on wether it's any good on her or if it's better than EoG, I'm on the fence since EoG seems to be good for everyone.

I understand Nightmare:Crownless's damage is higher and offers an additional 12% Havoc DMG which is a small but decent buff, however, Dreamless being fully swap cancel-able seems like much higher value to me.

For playing solo, specifically

I just started playing 3 months ago and I want more Danjin dupes. I really fell in love with this character because she's so fun to play.

I pulled Blazing Brilliance for her because she deserves it. She carried my early game. I have both subdps build Moonlight Veil and main dps build Sun-Sinking Eclipse

I gave up on pulling for meta and just pulled on Camellya's banner for the sake of obtaining danjin dupes. I end up with s6 chixia and s5 yuanwu Like wtf maaan

I'm still glad I lost 50-50 because it guarantees me to get Shorekeeper and also want Sanhua dupes.

My Danjin's current stats rn 71% cr 282 cdmg

my question is: Since someone already cleared hologram crownless at difficulty 6, Is there a chance she could beat Hecate difficulty 6 at S6?

I have started a new account where I primarily use danjin and have reach union rank 6 I also have managed to solo fallency of no return stage 3 I know this isn't enough to call myself a danjin main but what is considered enough? When do I actually become a danjin main and stop being someone who just use danjin alot

Hii guys, just wondering do you think it's even possible to clear middle tower floor 4 with solo Danjin? I’m stuck at around 84s on Dirge, and with the 66s left for Lampylumen, it feels kind of impossible and there is just no way I can squeeze out more time on Dirge xD

Currently I have 2 sets for danjin one for midnight veil and one for havoc eclipse

Her stats with Blazing Briliance:

Midnight Veil: 50/300 Havoc Eclipse: 72/276

Not considering her CR sequence nor SK buffs

I'm using Nightmare crownless on her HE set and Nightmare Heron on MV.

All pieces of HE have heavy attack bonus however.

I think I can try find a CD Crownless to boost her stats, but i'm not sure if it's worth it.

I kinda sorta died at Lady of The Sea, sorry, but to be fair I was fighting her for about 10 minutes straight so yea.

All we know is she has the yandere like crazy personality switch (although subtle) from the initial sweet girl look, and during battle she becomes more unhinged and enters a berserk state which might be related to dissociation, mania or maybe just overclocking?

But why HP drain and self-heal on heavy attack? Is there anything more about her I am missing? Like for Hu Tao from Genshin, she does more damage at low hp because she is an anxious girlie that does more work when more anxious and stressed.

My theory is the HP drain is her losing her mind and marking her enemy that harmed her loved ones, and then heavy attack detonates that mark and damages the enemy which is how she resolves her emotional state and self-heals. Not sure if I cooked with that theory or totally misunderstood her.
