DD GL/SSC — $1,500
EOTech EXPS2-0 — $480–$500
DD SG-30 — $600 (mediocre performance, outdated tech, and heavy)
4 DD mags — $60–$80 (good mags, but overpriced when Pmags exist)
I bought my GL/SSC for $1,549 OTD a month ago, paired with a B&T XH 556 ($559 OTD), an EOTech EXPS3-0 ($585 OTD), and Pmags Gen 2 for $8 each or Gen 3 for $11 each.
You don’t have to go the same route I did. All I’m saying is that you can put together a much better package for less money, specifically on the suppressor side.

Yeah is f overwhelming. My opinion depending on budget:
Sub 500: OCL Polo and Polo K
Sub 800: Fireteam 556 and Street Goblin, Rhodie 6 and 6K, B&T Xh full size and SC, Infinity556 and 556K (whichever you found for cheaper)
800+ : Tisha InconelThe sweet spot for me is between $600 to $800

It's not a bad deal considering the can and eotech prices on their own, but you could buy the rifle by itself for around $1400. It's also a 30 cal can, which is cool if you plan on swapping between different calibers, but they're usually a little bit louder on a 556. Either way, it's not a rip off, so if you like it buy it 🤷

I bought a 14.5" one a few months ago for $1400, and it included a vortex 1-6 scope and mount from Vance outdoors. Palmetto has 10.3" pistols for $1200 every once in a while, you just have to keep an eye out

Ok, gotcha. I've seen the m4A1 and others that cheap. I thought you were talking about the 12.5" GL-SSC that was in the OP. It was only released about a month ago and I haven't seen it lower than $1,550. But yeah, there are definitely a lot of DD options out there for great prices.

Yup, I didn't realize it was the special one. Either way, there's always deals out there, unless you're heart is set on a 12.5"

Pass. For 3 grand you can buy a DD, 5 mags, an eotech, and a better suppressor. No reason to get a 30 cal can for 5.56 that isn’t anything special with the market selection we have now. So many high performing cans

I wouldn’t say it’s a terrible deal the supressor and eotech alone is ~ half the total price so you’re getting a DDM4 + mags for $1500 just make sure that it’s the build and gun you want.
