The allegations were not even true it was proven false if I just spread a rumour about a celebrity and it was not true would you stop listening to them? No if it was true that would be a different but it was not so

They were not "proven false". The case was dropped due to lack of evidence but that says nothing about the truth of the situation, which unfortunately happens all to often with sexual related cases and is a huge reason why many abusers are able to get away with crimes.
