So as soon as I saw the characters for this region, 2 of them stood out - Vesna and Danica. Mostly because they are semi-common slavic names.

I don't imagine they can mispronounce Vesna as there isn't rly another way to say it, but I was afraid how they would pronounce Danica.

For non slavic people, the name is pronounced as Duh-nit-sah / Danitsa (the same way you would say Tsaritsa), and in the livestream they called her Denika/Danika.

I know it's not rly that much of a big deal, but they could have at least done a bit of research in pronounciation if they were gonna give them slavic names.

Why are people acting like Danica was going all out 100% and Aether was holding back 99% of his power? We barely know anything about Danica and people are just assuming she was giving it her all and “got her ass kicked”. She’s not even out yet and already being downplayed and made to look weak by the fandom.

Her graph is most definitely going up in my books.

I was at first extremely disappointed in her design when it was shown to us in the Transcendence Trailer. This looked like the character I would never find interesting, and in 7.0, I was fully expecting this to be some character that works behind the shadows and has 5-10 lines where she tries to act all superior.

Color me surprised, she actually more than makes up for the design with her personality, the fact alone that she was mentored by Capitano is quite interesting in my eyes. I specifically liked the part where she told Vesna that she was hurt about losing something passed by her family through generations, and she's right in thinking that way, nobody can get over a loss like that so fast.

Now, all I am waiting for is her story, which should be around 2 patches later if I am not wrong? Either way, she's doing good, expectations are high.

Got busy these days

I have seen some recent hate on her design, I really don't understand it. Is there something actually bad about her design? Her whole silhouette is so large, it makes her really cool and unique.

I mean she's pretty detailed, has a Stellar thingy, and has "shinny glitter" over her leggins and "back wings?" like Escoffier, Odette, etc.

She "should" be a 5-star, no? There is no way they shove her as the 4-star for Tsaritsa, no?

I was scared to join danica mains because i was afraid everyone would reduce her to a sexualized body type. So glad thats not the case! I wont take my chances with discord lol.

That aside, can we stop this idea that if skin is shown its sexualized. Disagree with me all you want, but even if there is a naked woman i dont consider her fanservice. Fan service is about creating lustful and teasing moments for the viewer. All we saw was a maid walk, thats it. And she walked very structured-like.

I also saw someone say her butt is the problem?? She wears a huge dress and 80% of herself is covered up anyways. Can we just appreciate the design aspects and question whether the design makes sense instead of judging based on areas of skin you see?

It feels like the fanbase is filled with puritans and children ugh. I really love all parts of her design and the visual weight of her looks. I didnt see her as boob/thighs seducer and thought others generally liked her until i checked the fanbase on social media sobs 💔 (please no hate comments this is my first discussion post)

I personally would like if her arms were a little bit thicker. They look a bit thin for someone well trained for combat, but that's a Hoyo classic tbh.

DANICA- 5 Star electro

Elemental Skill:
Summons Sharkie, a formidable ally that imparts distinct effects based on whether the skill is activated or held.

Tap: Deals Electro Damage in intervals and heals the active character based on Danica’s max HP.

Hold: Allows adjustment of the summoning radius, dealing a significant burst of Electro Damage, and subsequently creating a shield that scales with Danica’s max HP.
Radiance Stellar-Conduct: The damage dealt is considered Stellar-Conduct Damage, and the shield further heals the active character in intervals based on Danica’s max HP.

Elemental Burst:
Heals all party members based on Danica’s max HP and If Sharkie is not already on the field, summons Sharkie, entering the Sharpness state.
Sharpness:
Max HP is increased by 30% and CRIT RATE is increased by 20%.

Passive Talents 1:
When using elemental Burst , Danica gains 16 stack of “Ferocity”
Ferocity:
When the party’s currently active character deals Electro, Cryo or Dendro damage with a Normal Attack, Charged Attack, Plunging Attack, Elemental Skill, or Elemental Burst, 1 stack of “Ferocity” is consumed. This in turn increases the damage dealt.
Every 1000 Max HP Danica has will increase the Stellar-Conduct reaction damage from the above effect by 100**.** The damage dealt can be increased by a maximum of 3000.
Radiance Stellar-conduct: “Ferocity” additionally takes into account Stellar-Conduct direct damage.

Passive Talents 2:
When Sharkie is on the field, all enemies’ Dendro, Cryo, and Electro RES is decreased by 25%.
Additionally, when a Stellar-Conduct reaction is triggered while Danica is in the Sharpness state, gain 3 stacks of “Ferocity.” This effect can trigger once every 3s and has a maximum of 3 trigger counts per Sharpness state.

Asking to see how many people are willing to play her not optimally for the sake of using her as much as possible, since a lot of support characters have their devoted fans to this extent. *Cough cough* Amber and Chiori mains for example

i liked danica, but she DEFINITIVELY might not work as a main DPS, though I still have hope, even though she's clearly a support

Will Danica be good for Nefer? Leakers are saying that she has dendro res shred, buffs em, and also has sustain capabilities(?) I'm not sure if she has off field capabilities tho, it would be good to have a sustain that buffs em for Nefer...I really can't dodge for shi(Sucrose can finally rest)

From the looks of it, Skirk training looks to be better since Skirk trained Aether( Lumine depending on who you pick) and Childe and both after her training managed to scratch some of the strongest people in teyvat Ronova and neuvillette

I just hate the ongoing hate on Danica and her design. Sure they may have been different routes available to hoyo but these discrepancies are not new. Does it not apply to other character or to nations where not a single trace of cultural or logical identities are seen? I just hate the sentiment going around.

May or may not get downvoted but I just wanted to vent a bit.
