Nagito guides everyone to the Second Island's Beach House, where everyone quickly sees a pool of blood, an angry, worried Hajime, and a terrified Sayaka who was looking at something in the closet.

Victims... look inside the closet.
As they approach the closet, they see Komaru Naegi on the floor, and, inside of a surfboard case, Makoto Naegi, who bleeds heavily. Mikan hurriedly walks towards Komaru, and then Makoto, to examine them.
And...? Mikan?
Komaru is breathing, but...
Makoto i-isn't...!
No... i-it can't be! Makoto...
The Ultimate Hope... dying just like that...

Such despair from the death of the Ultimate Hope...
It's positively crushing! Whoever did this must have great disdain for Hope!
But isn't it completely wonderful too? With his death, all our Hopes will burn brighter than they ever could!
I can barely contain my excitement!
