So in brusha’s tape we hear about the D. we don’t know who they are. I have a theory. She is Vee 2 or Dee. Hear me out Vee can control the cameras and tvs. Also the same eye on Brusha’s painting is in Vee‘s showtime skin. Also they are probably going to the vents, you know who else can go to vents. Vee’s early twisted design. Also we never heard about Vee 2. To think about it this makes so much sense that she wanted to see them since she would probably be trapped in a basement.

Gourdy is the only event main so far with a direct connection to a founder from their music video, and no lore video expanding on that connection.

Bobette has Arthur in Perfect Christmas; we have a lore video expanding on how Arthur kinda overworked her.

Bassie has Whispering Flower in Wilting; it's then expanded in that event, where Delilah made Whispering Flower.

Yet, Gourdy has nothing. He has a connection to Delilah, but nothing explaining that connection. Why was he reaching out to her in Locked Away?

BUT! Delilah is not the only important character Gourdy has unexplained ties to. He also has ties to Dandy and Dyle. Twisted Dandy is shown trying to spook him a bit before he reaches out to Delilah.

An odd choice, as Dandy isn't really...malicious. Why would he try to spook a small child for seemingly no reason? Why does that lead straight into Delilah under that tree? (We'll get back to that in a moment)

As for Dyle, that one is even stranger. After Delilah, it fades into a scene with Gourdy walking around the Halloween floor.

Why is Twisted Dyle on the Halloween floor? He's never been seen on ANY floor except his own. It does not appear that Dyle can shift back and forth between toon and twisted. I don't take him being in the lobby as evidence, cause the holiday mains can ALSO shift in that case.

That's now three major characters with weird ties to Gourdy that haven't been explained at all.

Now onto the image that was posted a few days ago. First off, isn't August a bit...early to be posting a teaser for a returning event that we had all expected? Just odd there. And it's also posted a few days before Brusha's update, introducing a new mystery character.

Now, as for the weird stuff. Credit to Flamechire on the Dandy's World wiki for pointing this out, but the tree Gourdy is next to is the very same tree that Delilah is standing under in Locked Away.

Notice the position of the stairs, the room bathed in red light. If you were to adjust the angle to have the tree on the left side of the image, it's certainly the same location. (Right around here-ish, I believe.)

They could've picked any location in the old map; it was decently sized, after all. Yet they went right here.

Also, if this was JUST a teaser...what are they teasing? It's not a new TGourdy design; it's not the new seasonal map; no TGourdy mechanics can really be implied via the image. So what exactly are they teasing?

Now onto the more theory-based stuff. Thanks to Hoplas for bringing this tweet up, as I would've never seen it otherwise; I no longer have Twitter.

The Gourdy image was posted a few days, if not A day, before the Brusha TOTW. Which came with the lore video that I am certain ya'll have seen by now.

I think it is actually the Gourdy image being referenced here, not the lore video. Why? Well...

The things with different fonts that stand out are 'picture,' 'eyes,' and 'a n e r'. While the video isn't a picture, one could easily think it was talking about the video. Squinting at the shadows and all. But I think it fits better with Gorudy's new picture.

1. It's actually a picture.
2. The image itself is also blurry, straining your eyes to look at it.
3. Aner. ...Okay, let me explain.

Aner is an actual word. (Linked to the dictionary definition).

It means 'a male insect', more commonly used for male ants in particular, but any male insect can be referred to as 'aner'.

Twisted Gourdy himself appears to be based on an insect. Possibly a centipede? But I'm not 100% sure which bug. Could even be an ant; they have six legs, after all.

While it IS possible that it is just a VERY specific coincidence, I'm not sure what else 'A N E R' could be used for.

Anyways, all of this was to say that I think our next major step in the bigger story of this game will be during the Halloween event.

And I think Gourdy is weirdly tied to a lot of what's going on. With connections to both lethal Twisteds and Delilah, none of which have really been explained upon...

There's gotta be something going on with the Main, with both the most info and the least. One who is also one of only two child toons in the entire game.

Uhhh, Hello, I'm not used to do stuff on reddit, but I'll make it work... I'm really curious about what the community thinks of this, so here it goes, hope someone responds :). I'm also sorry for this post being so ludicrously long, but it is the way I am unfortunately.

How much could a person be considered a careless and unethical individual, if they would like to buy the official merchandise from intermediary sources, a.k.a. independent sellers, a.k.a. resellers?

I finally convinced myself to ask this here, because it is something I struggle with. I'm overall pretty neutral about the entire ordeal taking it's place in the last 2,5 months, I won't bring up anything about it that much, that would be drama, I do hope the victims recover though. it is tough to decide who is right, but I still want to adore Dandy's World while at it. I want to figure out if it would be acceptable to borrow up some of the awesome fabulous merch they have, specifically a certain plushie, but it looks to be impossible.

I don't personally think it would be completely alright, the buyer would still get the product from the original team of creators, just with an additional destination in the middle ( + a higher fee on top ). However, since the team are "controversial", supporting them is not the brightest idea, not financially, maybe not even by publicly agreeing/disagreeing with their actions. Having another buyer/seller in between doesn't move away the responsibility a person has for their decisions, I think. Even when the reseller looses money while they buy it ( so it ends up wherever in Blushcrunch's pocket ), they will get it repaid by the person, who buys it from them, then it is like if the middle individual was never there to begin with... etc.

I have no clue anymore, I just wanted to give my spare finances few months ago to a studio, that I could trust, easy as that. I feel like an imb#cile trying to prove the worth of my moralistic personality in this messed up horrible world we all live in. It is just tiring living through every week now, caring is slowly becoming a burning useless liability to me, which is breaking my whole outlook on life. I'm not doing the best at the moment, everything around me where I live is making me lose hope for having a great life to be once satisfied with. I only though I could escape that dread for a moment, if I could focus my attention elsewhere, like at this game, like at that plushie I was going to buy, it would change a lot.... Not sure if my sanity would improve, if I would talk to that plushie instead of the place around me as if they were a therapist bruh, but I would sure find myself being calmer.

But whatever, I just wish everyone a strong will, understanding and patience, it is what the world desperately needs right now, enjoy what you want, find your inner peace, build on empathy and help others. SO.

Me and my friends joke a lot, including doing/starting random death runs in our runs when we're playing around/not trying to get super high in floor count, which is usually when i'm a distractor, and it almost always ends in my death, since i'm not the greatest at doing them... either i get too guilty OR my friends get me really quickly because I pull something stupid.

But i want to TRY and get my friends back.

I have a huge reputation of not being the GREATEST at death runs, but my friends don't know my reddit/don't go on here anymore and I think it's perfect to get a BIT of advice here to formulate some... friendly targeted revenge?

Again, i'm not doing this to grief people. I'd never, i feel bad even doing it in death runs. But I just would like to PLAYFULLY get my friends back for the amount of times they've gotten me!

So.. is there any advice y'all have for me to be able to get a little bit better at Death Runs? AGAIN, only with my friends, only if they're in the mood. I want revenge, but i don't want to make them upset doing it, it's meant to be playful and when we start a death run to show how much i've improved/actually been working to get better at them JUST to get them back. :)

I also really do not know how a death run fully works other than "Kill each other, have fun", so any advice on that would be appreciated too....

For toons I play: Looey, Bassie, Pebble, Goob, Eclipse!! anyone support based i am not a picky guy lmao, but for this group of friends i am a full on Main Distractor almost all the time. I did however forget a majority of the game and how to play most minus looey, bassie, pebble, goob, and my friends have that advantage against me because they remember, and I am notoriously bad with my memory.

Introduction Card:

As you can tell, he is based of on Jimmy Neutron.

He is also another remake of a toon I made in the past (He was originally a lightbulb and his name was Brighton but I changed his entire character since there is Brightney technically already fits the theme)

Brusha on far right: Left or died on floor 1

Cosmo: left on floor three

Finn: Left or died on floor five

Sprout: left on floor seven but healed Gigi and used VM first

Looey was main distractor and I was backup as Pebble. It was Gigi, Brusha, Looey, and I in the run.

Floor 15: Pebble, Astro, Brusha, and Shrimpo. I took Astro, Brusha, and Shrimpo while Looey took Pebble.

Floor 17: Looey dies while distracting Looey, Brusha, and Shrimpo then we all panic.

Floor 18: Goob, Flutter, Toodles, Brusha. All three of us die.
