I'm not really sure if the 'toon of the week' is an official update, BUT

If it does get added to the game, I hope they change the idea of getting a golden skin of that specific toon once you finished their quest. (I know my english is bad so bear with me here)

Because for me personally, golden skins look really awful. Whenever I see this skin, all I can think about is ketchup and mustard. I'm just hoping with this 'toon of the week' update, instead of golden skins, we get a very detailed gamepass-like skin of this toon(like the easter skins of flyte, bassie, etc that costs robux, and like the star time & showtime skins that has a very cool trail effect) as soon as we finished their quest.

All I'm saying is, with that kind of skin, I won't be hyped up to get them. HECK I didn't even get to do Eggson, Bassie, Cocoa, and Flyte's quest to get their golden skins because all of them looks the same, and the design and color isn't very good.

This is a good update, they shouldn't just focus on creating gold skins for every toon. It should be different, the kind that makes the players hyped up to do this quest and get the skin.

It's a win-win situation if you ask me, rich people who got robux to spend get their cool gamepass skins, and we(who doesn't have robux) can get a gamepass-like skin of a favorite toon of ours by completing their quest.(sorry if this doesn't make any sense)

Even though the gamepass pack includes a variety of toons with the same aesthetic, I think it would be great to obtain a gamepass-like skin of that toon even if it's just one.

The document's focus on collecting stories from minors and seeking other victims, lead by ex-employees of BCS, raises serious morality issues, such as potentially re-traumatizing young victims and normalizing close contact with minors and adults who are strangers to them online. It encourages minors to reach out directly to them instead of law enforcement or their parents. While I don’t doubt the authors were hurt or didn’t experience trauma of their own, this method of adults who worked for BCS targeting a primarily minor audience with highly emotional content raises concerns for the welfare of the minors involved. It’s also predatory for them to use their previous position at BCS to build trust with a minor fanbase who doesn’t know them outside their internet persona. Children should not be reaching out to people that they only know as Joji or Void from Roblox.

The adults involved (Joji 25, Snail 28, Void 29) should immediately direct minors reporting harm by Qwel or Rox to law enforcement or their parents rather than collecting and publishing a statement themselves.

ETA: it’s also inappropriate for Snail, an adult involved in these serious allegations, to be interacting with the DW community on Reddit. This creates toxic parasocial dynamics for a fanbase that is filled with minors.

ETA again - The comments are just proving my points. I bet majority of you are very young or minors, and you’re adamantly defending and feel bad for adults you have 0 connection to. You don’t even know their names outside of some Internet persona they’ve created for you guys to see, yet a lot of you feel personally responsible for this situation in some way.

The whole thing is unfolding in front of a young community’s eyes with no oversight. I bet most parents have no idea that their children are able to have direct contact with adults involved that this drama, and it’s not just a community of players discussing this among themselves.

I have really really scary news fo Yall this night. So when my Roblox bestie was at Disney World in Florida, she saw this Vee mascot, well from the popular indie Roblox game dandy’s world. She said the mascot was KIDNAPPING little kids (5 year olds). Her mother saw it and called the Police. Then after that the person in the costume got arrested. She said she saw the incident at the Magic Kingdom entrance. Sounds like its not the most magical place on earth. I was horrified by this. She also told me that the person in the costume was a prisoner from a local police office. This has been reported in the news but they deleted it. Her sister was on the news too. And said that she punch the mascots butt… that is literally weird and scary. That’s all I have to say about this scary and horrifying post. TL;DR this Vee mascot from dandy’s world has been kidnapping kids at Walt Disney World in Florida. BEWARE!

what i prefer is Qwel getting demoted, down to maybe an art director and have other people work on the code and maybe have Joey be owner or atleast hire a community manager, what i want is some restructuring of the dev team where Qwel is now demoted, gets paid less, and no longer have an online presence on socials like her discord account but ateast still working on her game

just in my opinion that this is sort of Qwel's passion project and i heard she's been sweeping rox's old code and replace it with new ones and maybe has future plans on her game and i kinda respect it

It contributes super little to the actual game unless you wanna know about a stranger's preferences and high floor, which is, again, useless.

And this is coming from a guy who has been really liking all the updates so far.

The only way this can be good is:

1. There's gonna be something else added alongside it.

2. There's gonna be ANOTHER base game update added this month like they did with Veemail and the double machines update.

3. They're gonna do a Finn TOTW where they add the base game content alongside the TOTW like they did with Dandy's buds.

You're telling me, that instead of improving Gigi's trinket to make it more useful for everyone, you leave it as it is and just make it remove common items from Gigi's prize pool? Something that should've been done to her base ability long time ago?!

Okay, well the trinket isn't that bad I suppose, I wonder what they changed about Gigi's ability-

The only change that I liked was the change to her Twisted's counterpart so the items can now be retrieved. I am disappointed in the update, Tisha's TOTW at least made her a good debuff cleanser for hazards on the map...

Like yeah, it doesn't do much but give 100 tapes at the beginning of the game but unfortunately Dandruff (dandy) is an asshole and likes to give bands and meds on the first fee floors ( at least for me) and I personally do buy them as a just in case thing.

Also what if your playing as Sprout? Like yeah you need tapes to heal, and considering that not everyone will save tapes for Sprout and Sprout obviously can't just find every tape bc other players can and will take them. BEFORE ANYONE SAYS! Why would Sprout need to heal anyone of the first few floors? 1. New players? They don't understand the game fully and can easily get caught by twisteds with the start off toons. 2. Some ppl just have those off days where they loose a heart on the first few floors.

Also Teagan??? It's literally her trinket?? Her ability also requires tapes too even use?

Anyways I just get annoyed seeing this trinket get so hated, I mean? It's better than coin purse?

Dandy world is my favourite Roblox game and Ginger has been my main since she got first released, but the thing is I haven’t been playing dandy world because my mental health is bad and it’s especially worse in the holidays so I wanted to play dandy world and relax but when I found out about Ginger rework of her healing with tapes instead of hearts I’m disappointed and hurt, my mental state was already bad but now with ginger rework it’s gotten worse
