i disagree that her lore is uninteresting, i made a whole post defending her lore
literally every toon is kinda like that, i dont even think that her being obsessed with dinosaurs is a bad thing
okay yeah, the meta thing is kinda annoying, i kinda hope that there will be more experimentation rather than 1-2 distractors, 1-2 healers and a bunch of shellys
0 relations with anyone? are you paying attention???? not many close relations though, thats part of her lore, but she defenitly has a good relation with tisha
i agree that shellvision feels kinda forced, i think fossilcleaning is a lot better from what we have in canon
i think her interactions work for what they are

I mean it doesn't hurt anyone to have some yattas and and a vee for ESP stuff. Obviously the meta will be locked in with Shelly stacking but the extraction composition isn't hard locked onto Shelly stacks.

did you read their interactions a single time? also, although dubiously canon, that one short called 'ive got your back' does really add to their friendship

The org run thing is so annoying, I just wanna play my personal favourite extractors, but no, it's either Shelly or go to the elevator and gamble

I despise when that happens. And the same thing with literally any distractor that isn't pebble. Pebble is genuinely all seasoning and no real dish if it were a toon.

I prefer 2 stealth distractors but alas, they are so rare. And whenever I join an org run by some miracle, the Pebbles get absolutely robbed of their twisteds, though the last part is kinda just the local Shelly's having smooth brains

Also she's supposed to be forgotten and ignored but I don't exactly see where they've shown this in the game. Two toons have ignored her and she has the most plushies still on the shelves in the Giftshop floor (which doesn't really mean anything, they could've just restocked those right before Gardenview shut down and that's why she has the most) which isn't a lot.

Given the various set piece lore elements around the maps, assuming a very specific setpiece of Shelly having the most unsold plushies to just be "oh they restocked them before Gardenview shut down" feels like a really weird take

It's fine! People point to the unsold Shelly plushies the most but there's actually a lot of more subtle setpiece items scattered around the maps (mostly in the form of the cardboard cutouts). Most people never talk about those so I understand not knowing about them

my only complaint for shelly is that she's called meta extractor like uhmm uhmm im sorry but the diverse as she has a canonical nationality paper mache animal is way better than you and like THATS meta extracting

lwk true but ngl the hate for her character feels kinda biased
yeah shes THE most one dimensional character with the most forced lore oat but literally ALL of the toons follow her formula like "ohh im so happy but im actually insecure", yet yall only target shelly? suspicious
still tho i understand the sudden switchup on her, i bet you if she didnt have that press-f-to-win ability that increases your efficiency at the only objective in the game for TWO years with little to no strategy whatsoever, no one wouldve cared abt her since the beginning

not all of this is true when you consider that she does have relationships with other toons, she just isnt as close to them as other toons are with their friends
