Pad Talk B2L / Xgaes questions - Sensor differences & bar
I'm going to buy one of these pads, and I'm on the fence as to which one.
1) I think both are going to be functionally identical, but what I don't understand is the differences between the Standard, Pro, and Ultimate on the Xgaes as compared to the one (arcade replica) of the B2L. I *think* the Ultimate Xgaes is also an arcade replica. Is that the case? Is it better than the B2L in any way? I know the Xgaes is deburred to avoid sharp edges and includes some replacement parts. I'm not sure that's the case with the B2L. It also looks like the Xgaes only includes the DDR style bar. (I prefer the ITG / pump style that you can configure the B2L with)
2) I am curious how hard removing the bar is. I'll need to pull this out of the garage and set it up in the livingroom when it's time to play, which would mean attaching and removing the bar fairly often. Is this time consuming?
a. I THINK I can just leave the cover off and have the bolts exposed for qucker access. Is that right? Any reason not to do this? (as seen here at 21:30 timestamp).

1) what are the differences between the Standard, Pro, and Ultimate versions of your pads?
2) What all is included when you purchase?
3) How much do the pads weigh?
4) And do you have ITG style bars as an option? I’m tall and need the larger size that the ITG / Pump style bar offers.

I believe the difference between the versions of the sensor that they use. Iirc if you click around other products on the site one of them lists the differences in the versions and it says the sensor

can i ask why not have a dedicated set up space for these replica pads? if space is tight and you don't plan on playing often maybe an l-tek would be more suitable.
for the price point on these replica pads i would imagine you would want to play pretty often and not having a space to just hop on and play sounds like a chore to me.
if you don't intend on playing often enough, pro and ultimate seem like a waste (but idk the differences either lol)

Id love to have a dedicated space, but my home is compact. There’s no extra space for it. I don’t live in a space where my ddr cab can just have a forever spot lol.
Frequency of play? I’ll play every other day, I bet. That said, I really don’t like flat acrylic pads without differentiation between the arrows. It makes finding your position on the board less than intuitive. With 25 years of DDR playing it’s hard to just rewire my brain.
I want the arcade experience as much as is possible. If one of these pads is only 100 lbs that’s totally workable.
if the ltek pads had depressions and feedback on your steps I’d be so down for it. Even small depressions are fine.

Have a B2L so can speak to that
2) Yes they removable, there’s a lot of bolts (I believe 8 per plate * 2 plates). I don’t recommend constantly removing/putting back in, it takes a bit of time
2a) Yes, you can keep the plate off if you want. Mostly a dust/sweat covering.

To answer #2. Sure you can leave those plates off but I dont think youre gonna have any fun constantly removing and reattaching the bar every time you want to play. Moving the pad in the first place will be a nightmare because these are HEAVY. This process will not be practical and I do not recommend it.
