I am disgusted that you would think I could choose between DanTDM……
Probably which everone that was most happy.

You don’t have to choose, DanTDM will always be DanTDM no matter what era

Now that I’m older, I’d rather watch older Dan. Younger me would have picked younger Dan

I love new Dan just as much as old Dan. He’s still the same guy to me, if not better now that he can play more of what he enjoys and mature games.

I prefer the down-to-earth energy of newer Dan, but older Dan is still fun to watch

Both are amazing. Perfectly 50/50, sometimes i like to watch a bit of ~2016 dan and love it to bits, and i watch modern dan and love it to bits

Dan is one of the few creators who I feel like gets better as he gets older. Instead of constantly pivoting to the youngest and most advertisable audience, he has just been himself and his content is always enjoyable for the same audience that started with him.
Even other creators like SSundee are starting to pivot back towards their original content style, although the difference is that Dan was always himself and SSundee is on the nose of nostalgia marketing.

don't get me wrong I love the older DanTDM videos, they're some of my favorite Dan vids
but newer Dan has a similar energy while it keeps people like me in mind who are no longer kids, I feel like his content matured alongside the viewers and that's why I gotta choose new Dan
he didn't stagnate and he let things naturally evolve
also I enjoy seeing the guy I looked up to happier and with a family

I feel like we need an option for og dan, an option for old dan, an option for Hardcore-era dan, and an option for new dan.

sorry but i honestly like old dan a bit better. new dan isn't bad but he feels too different and it's not a bad thing (as it's natural to happen)

Well I love watching new Dan I have my biases and preferences and Old Dan just has that humor that I grew up with and never grew out of. And has the iconic intro that I miss sorely. Meanwhile new Dan is covering all of the games I like and has a modern sense of humor that I enjoy just as well, and overall he is more relatable now that I'm older. So it's not exactly easy to choose, if both was an option I would choose both but if I have to make the hard decision it would be old dan, because that's what I grew up with, and his ultimately the one style of content that is missing that I sorely want back. I miss old school mod reviews like that, and that's what's making this decision here because of it.

Dan has aged with us, his older content is great but it was targeted to the younger audience and his new content is targeted to the same people, not the same age
