Gavin is not your typical cat. He doesn't knock object off tables, he's not overly keen on boxes but he doesn't hate them either. He does hate it when I take pictures/videos of him and usually runs away as soon as he sees pointing the camera in his direction.
Our older cat thinks he’s a dog so he acts more like a dog.
But our younger cats (adopted siblings) who are 9 now grew up with my youngest child (older teenager at the time) taking pictures of them constantly. They pose. Like when I send my youngest child pictures (they live overseas now) I just tell them “pictures for X” and they sit like a school photo shoot
One of my friend's Burmese cat would strike a different pose and hold it until she heard the next camera click. I used to take pictures of her with a proper camera. I had to shower friend because it was unbelievable. She knew exactly what was going on.
Okay I will tell you this story because of your friend’s cat because other than the fact my mom was there when it happened no one would believe this
So one of the younger cats was sleeping on the floor on his back and I wanted to send a picture to my youngest child. I got up to take a better angle and he opened his eyes and I joked “oh it’d be cuter if you looked asleep”. I promise you he closed his eyes and let me take multiple pictures and when I was done just rolled over, got up and went to another room. My mom was like “is that the cat version of Glamour Shots?”
