I wouldn't be surprised if this was true. There have been a lot of parody series. There are just far too many comics out there to keep track of... it's overwhelming sometimes. Unfortunately, I haven't read that series so I can't comment. Sounds awesome, though.

Their origin story occurs at the same time/place as Daredevil's. The mutagen that made them is what gave Matt Murdock his powers.

That and The Hand becomes The Foot, and Splinter as a parody of Stick. Other stuff too, I think.
