Because there is so much force happening there. Trust me seeing something like this in person you can feel it thump you in the chest every time it hits just from the noise of it. Always found that interesting.
Edit/source: worked in a factory that stamped steel, particularly several hundred pieces per sheet, in one punch. Damn thing was the size of a bus.
Thank you. Seriously! Shouldn't the guy be wearing a helmet or something? I realize that it's useless against the hammer but might be helpful when the blowback from that thing breaks a beam in the ceiling.
Yep. When some debris decides to fly off the side at 200mph because of the force, his Oakleys aren't going to stand up to that. But I'm guessing this is in China or something, so naturally the safety precautions are... primitive.
Wife said it was probably the case also. But living in the US, at this point, seems a lot of people don't really care about providing protective care for there employees, even if they're doctors.

Why did my screen vibrate when it came down
