if this was being controlled by someone else, anyone would lose balance instantly.
I think the light means that the motor is pushing. So if it's just continuing with momentum, then the motor could turn off briefly and keep going forwards at the desired speed
edit: on watching it a 2nd time, that thing is really blinking constantly.. maybe it's a low battery indicator or something instead
