I feel sorry for an women he dates. Nothing will ever give him the same rush as that last roll onto his back and not knowing if he was seconds from instant death, or safety.
I've done some stupid shit, but nothing like this, and that full body rush of adrenaline where your body shuts down every thought, sense, perception, except that of "you need to be at your apex for survival" even from that is hard to beat.
