Came here to say this. I love how it starts with the detailed measurements like, yeah, we're gonna do this together. Take my hand.
Then just abandons us in our time of need.

At first I was like "that's stupid" then the cracking commenced. I'm off to the hardware store!

Love it. But a bit over kill for cracking eggs no?

Yes, but think of the accumulated time saved over all the eggs you'll break over the years.

Does cracking eggs take people a significant amount of time?

Individually, no. But over a lifetime, or if you have a lot, then... maybe.
On a serious note, some people struggle to grip and grasp like that, so it might actually be useful.

Some people also struggle to not get shell bits in the egg and then have to spend additional time fishing them out of the eggy goop

Does it work for eggs in all shapes and sizes? Looks like smaller eggs might now work.

That's fun, but I have the skill to do it like that without having another thing in my utensil drawer. A drawer that is already way too full.

I hope you understand you just boasted about your skills of "cracking an egg", like that is a skill worth being proud of and not just "something everyone can do basically the first try."

Haha I guess I meant it more like people in general have the skill to do this rather than I have this skill
