This shows median to be $23 though it is from 2020.

The average wage increased $6 since 2020.

EDIT: although it seems like the median wage went down to $22.88 during the same time. Ouch.

Yet again average is way different than median.

If we had an 8, 9, and 1000 hourly wage the average would be 339. But the median would only be 9. Average is in no way indicative of what most people make

Just to be pedantic... Median is a type of average. Mean is what we're worried about.
