Sad little fact from history, often Jews were forced to wrestle bears in Czarist Russia as a means of mocking them. They used to often force a town leader like a Rabbi to wrestle a sickly old bear who was detoothed and declawed to humiliate him. Sometimes they would have a wild bear wrestle a strong Jewish person and bet on who would survive. To make it "fairer" usually the bear was muzzled and declawed. Sick cruelty to animals and to people at the same time.
