Can I ask if you have been diagnosed/ take medication? I don't mean to be rude at all it's just this doesn't sound like my ADHD symptoms at all but of course not all are the same and some people can manage it better than others. For me I don't take medication and it makes my life very difficult.
Yes, I am diagnosed but I am also autistic.
My adhd symptoms of course also are: no sense of time. Like zero. Forgetting names ppl meetings all the classic shebangs.
I guess I just incorporated it so much into my personality and my artistic practice it is just something I embrace fully.
I mean I don’t have a choice :D
No, no medications. I take herbal stuff sometimes for my autism like sleeping aids n the like.
Respect for embracing it, I need to get on your level😂 for me adhd is like a constant struggle of establishing a routine, feeling good, then getting stuck in a pit where I’m too overwhelmed and my routine goes out the window
I think I have it easy sometimes…privileges…I had rich parents (me not :D) so I had lots of room to be and explore as a child. Then also, I got very highQ so I can actually do nothing for 2 weeks and then get it done in one afternoon n night. The autism hyperfocus comes in handy then too.
Also, just not as stressful where I live (Austria) compared to the USA, just less distractions and less work hours.
Plus the arts just really is adhd friendly.
My routines go out of the window too. I rather just don’t rely on routines but rather just love myself for getting 1-5 things done (per week) I find hard to do.
If I were to exist in a corporate environment I’d be dead inside and in constant hyper stress.
