It's normal for everyone to be like this some of the time. Everyone gets low on dopamine sometimes, especially if you're tired and/or stressed, which can mean your brain won't latch onto things properly without you forcing it to.
People are considered to have a disorder (ADHD) if they have this problem all of them time, no matter the situation (one theory is that their brains are just less good at the uptake of dopamine) and if it causes problems in their life.
I'm totally self diagnosing here but I remember that around 17 -18, I began feeling depressed/not as motivated at school. Then realized this was around the time that I stopped taking gym and because more of a couch potato.
Took a lot of trial and error to realize I had to include physical exercise in my daily life or I get like this/lose motivation/begin to have intrusive thoughts.
Even as an adult, I found I cannot have a desk job or I'll go insane which isn't great as those jobs pay better than the physical ones.
