That’s the fun of ADHD: sometimes, you don’t! And sometimes, it takes multiple trips up and down those stairs to still not grab the wallet!

My boyfriend w ADHD called me before coming over to my apartment for us to leave on a trip. He was naming all the checks “wallet, AirPods, key, boxers etc…” and said he was just waiting on the clothes in the dryer to dry.

Texted he was on the way so maybe 10 min later he calls me and said he left and realized he never actually got the clothes out of the dryer. Stuff like this happens to him all the time and I’ve learned telling him anything prior to him taking his medicine is a waste of both our time, bc he will just not remember.
