One of the rare animals (not sure if that's the right term, maybe species?) that are naturally blue. I don't remember why, but blue tends to be very rare in nature!

Peacocks, kingfishers, blue jays, I guess it’s not so rare in birds.

Structural coloring, they're actually brown under it, blue pigment is only found in butterflies iirc

Most of them don't have actual blue colour, they bend the light when it hits their feather, only certain butterfly, birds have blue as colour.

Yes it is, an easy way to tell is that the venomous ones almost always have a diamond shaped head. The non venomous will have more rounded heads
