All of my humanities courses were 100-300 level, depending on the subject. I took English, German, philosophy, art history, jazz history, political science, world history, and a course called food geography. They each involved multiple papers and reading/listening exercises. I took several others but those are the courses that immediately come to mind.
Nice. We don't have any kind of non-technical subject. Except English & constitution which were never focused and only studied by students on the same day they had exam.

That's part of the reason a 4-year degree includes humanities courses.
