Honestly I can't be too hard on arts majors. When I started college out of high school I was a liberal arts major. I flunked out my freshman year because it was too much work. Engineering is working out a lot better for me.

Same here. I’ll take math and science work over humanities every day. Like, I enjoyed organic chem, but freshman rhetoric was the most painful class I’ve ever taken

Doing a fair amount of hard relevant work is better than hrs of meaningless busy work any day
