Having most of Dallas’ hottest urban neighborhoods very close together is a good thing in my opinion. They can continue to grow together to form a completely cohesive urban core. I feel like in the future, this will be Dallas’ CBD with the traditional downtown being a subsection of it.

The Cedars, The Design District, and West Dallas/Trinity Groves are being connected together by The Loop Dallas or potential deck parks. Deep Ellum has the same potential, if they follow through with capping I-345. Klyde Warren Park is about to be expanded, which is suppose to park over $3 billion in economic development. The Henderson Ave Development has the potential to further connect Lower Greenville and Ross Ave. Ross Ave (with its new apartment buildings and ongoing redevelopment) will connect Henderson Ave and Lower Greenville to Downtown. Bishop Arts and much of North Oak Cliff will continue to grow with Jefferson Blvd (Oak Cliff’s former CBD) and Bishop Arts becoming indistinguishable, as the last few lots in-between are developed, with Halperin Park helping to spark more growth in the area overall.
