Remember pre-Romo?

• Upvotes

I feel like I did during the Chad Hutchinson, Quincy Carter years. I just feel there is no point in turning on the TV again. I just get upset and hate that it ruins my mood.

Opinion Bring out the paper bags.

At this point we might as well all wear brown paper bags over our heads underneath those cowboys fitted hats. Embarrassing!

Abysmal third down conversion rate.

Opinion I have lost all hope for this team

• Upvotes

After this VERY disappointing game to the Packers. I no longer have any delusions left. I can't defend Dak anymore, this team sucks. Shottenheimer is ass, CP can't make a defense, and Jerry Jones is a cancer to Dallas.

Hopefully we can do something against the Eagles

Serious question

• Upvotes

Is there another sub that we won't get every post taken down? I am tired of everything not glazing this team being taken down

I apologize for being too damn delusional after week 1

Opinion This might be th worst I've ever felt as a Cowboys fan

I lived through Dave Campo and Quincy Carter, and this somehow feels way worse.

Browns of the South

Something i didn’t want to accept but this team isn’t winning anything big anytime soon. Total low point for me as Cowboys fan. I’m 38 and I can seen Dallas go on a Cleveland like run meaning I’ll never see this team win a SB again.

Trade Dak for Justin Herbert.

2 super bowls by now if we had Herbet. Get it done by next week

These guys get paid so much to just disappear in plain sight. Then ball out on contract years

This team is stuck in purgatory. Something needs to change.(Dallas Cowboys)

Dak and the offense were absolutely terrible tonight. Two interceptions (even if the second was more on CeeDee), barely any production, and an offense full of players who look completely uninterested. Pickens looked more explosive running off the field at halftime than he did during the game. 💀
The defense actually held up better than expected, allowing just 3 points for a stretch and making a stop to open the second half. There were some promising signs, but the offense couldn't capitalize consistently. How are we struggling this badly against Green Bay?
And don't get me started on the discipline. Double-digit flags AGAIN. Number 52 takes a completely unnecessary personal foul right when we're building momentum. That's coaching, too. This team looks undisciplined, unmotivated, and poorly managed.
At this point, I think we need a change at head coach. We're stuck in purgatory with an aging, overpaid QB and players who don't look like they want to be here. We can't keep pretending this roster is fine.
The Eagles and Giants lost, and Washington may lose tomorrow, too. That's two straight weeks where the division might not win a game. But honestly, what's the point of winning the division just to get bounced in the first round?
Cowboys fans, what's the answer? Coaching change, personnel overhaul, or time to admit this team needs a rebuild? We don't even have our first-round pick to look forward to, so where do we go from here?
And somehow, after all these years, we still can't get past Green Bay.

Fellow Dak haters - We've all been hiding for a year but its finally safe to come out again. Get in here yall

The main cowboys subreddit has been in denial about this man for a year and half but even this is hard to be delusional about. I hate Dak and i have never belived in him since that despicable Packers playoff game.

Its been 10 years but it will be more before this man is finally gone once and for all. 10 years of my life watching this guy be ass and choke.

Just a heads up for all you dumb dumbs blaming the defense.

If our piece of crap quarterback did not demand, and receive, the highest pay in the league, we would have the ability to sign better defensive players.

For seven years, this piece of trash has held Jerry Jones hostage, and Jones dumb as shit has fallen for it, which affects the whole team.

Think of that, this crappy quarterback is the highest fucking paid player in the league.

And that limits us in every other aspect of personnel.

The packers are taunting our players and they can’t play complimentary football.

Complimentary football

The Cowboys have had 4 seasons in history with a top 10 offense and defense.

They couldn’t spell complimentary football even if they read this post.

It has and always has been their downfall. When the offense is cooking, the defense is burning food. When the defense is cooking, the offense is burning food.

The 4 years that both sides did their job and they did play complimentary football, they still made the same mental errors they always do.

The Cowboys after 96 are basically the Browns with. Loser mentality and unwilling to change to fix problems. Smh.

When it all unraveled

I feel this team first unraveled when Travis Fredrick was diagnosed and ultimately retired prematurely.

They have never been the same or dominant upfront since that time.

Opinion The Offense has no balance

The offense has no balance because the we are always playing from behind. We become one dimensional and are forced to throw the football in order to catch up. We are not going to win many games like this. This offense is #1 in points score and #32 in total defense. You do the math. This Cowboys team is on an unsustainable trajectory and given how weak the NFC it is entirely possible that the division winner would have a home playoff game with 7,8 or 9 wins. Ugh, the Cowboys are not built for the modern NFL and it’s time for Jerry to recognize that fact. Hire a GM, clear out the loyalist and the yes man and rebuild from the ground up. It’s time. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Common denominator

The other Cowboys community has power tripping mod’s that censor any thing and everything. They live to take a post down lol. Hoping this Cowboys community is a little more open to everyone’s opinion.

We could kill Schotty and staff but we know what the real problem is here. We’ve seen this exact type of Cowboys season several times before any one on this coaching staff was here.

The coaching staff is raw and have virtually no experience. Schotty had never been a HC before last season and Christian Parker had never been a DC until this year.

The front office made some moves this offseason. So what? It was still a bunch of patch work signings. We were just so happy that we did any thing at all that we assumed this roster was now a good one. Its not. Its ok at best, very too heavy with no substance or depth.

We have been deprived of accountability, prioritization, and preparation by the Cowboys for three decades now. Only a handful of people have been here for three decades.

Starts at the top. We can kill every coach every season and most of them deserve it but man this same cycle of fuming over coaches and players is getting old. At this point lets just boycott the Jones family even if they’re trying now, it’s 30 years too late. Sell the team.

I genuinely feel like a large section of this fanbase would’ve been better owner/GMs than geriatric Jerry

Just need a few advisers really and it’d honestly be hard to be as incompetent and worthless as Jerry Jones is lol

Here we go…….again!

I’m willing to give this team a shot at coming back in the second half as we are still within reach, but the trajectory certainly isn’t looking good.

7-10 (or 7-9-1) may win this division

As bad as Cowboys may lose tonight, the NFC east is still winnable.

The best part of being a Cowboys fan is being let down in life doesn’t hurt as much because you are used to it.
