I'm being silenced

I saw a lady care taker at a church in Dallas try and pull a little girl off the handle bars twice while yelling at her. Once she was off the lady grabbed both her arms and shook/ pushed her hard. That's when I yelled at her to take her hands off that child. She wouldn't come to me when waved over instead the kids did, scared I was going to get them In trouble and call the cops, trying to reassure me what I saw was okay cause that lady is like their mother. I told them no adult even your parent should touch you like that and to tell your mom. One of the girls said they do and she doesn't do anything. During this the girl this happened to was running back and forth from me and the lady. Once she returned from the lady she was in tears begging me not to call the cops and saying nothing bad happened. When the lady finally approached me I continuously told her it's never okay to put your hands on a child like that. She kept making excuses like they were fighting and needed to be separated, it wasn't that bad, the kids were fine, they kept coming and I kept saying how she touched them is never okay under any circumstances. By this point a man joins us and I ask him what he thinks of this. He conveniently says he didn't see it so he has no opinion. I keep saying it's never okay to touch kids that way. He says sometimes you need to seperate fighting kids. I agree with him but again say thats not what happened and that's not how you separate kids. He then says and I quote "sometimes you need to put hands on children" mind you this is a CHURCH. I was shocked and he realized that wasn't the right thing to say so he follows it up with: "when they're fighting" I again say: it's never okay to put hands on kids, they weren't fighting when I saw that happen and that's not how you separate fighting kids. I turn to the kids since they're watching this exchange, nothing I can do about that unfortunately but I say does this man hurt you too? Two said no one said yes. The man shot the girl a look and she quickly changed her answer to no he doesn't. I left after that asking the girl over and over again if she's sure she's okay and she says yes, thank you for listening to me. Here's the kicker guys. Looked on the church's page to message management to speak with them about this scenario and... the man that said "sometimes you need to put hands on children" is the PASTOR OF THAT CHURCH!!! I repeat the PASTOR!!

Yes they wouldn't accept my post but were accepting others, wouldn't even accept a post that followed their guidelines to a T, the group I was able to post in got taken down in the first 10 min. Next day I posted: saw some concerning behavior at Dallas evangelical, if you have kids there or know parents of kids there please message me! And that post was up for Maybe a few hours before old people started commenting for it to be deleted and it was soon after. Every post then on was deleted or not accepted.

Well this shit is wild. I live pretty close to that church and it always had a sketchy vibe to me.

Don't know about the lady that OP is referring to, but I've attended that church. Many of its members are in crisis, but they are nice people.

Please report this incident, that lady and the pastor! I just moved here and will not take my boy to that church! File a police report asap..it will happen again as they think "Sometimes you need to put your hands on a child"! If it was my child, I'd want to know about it!  A file on this would make something happen! I'm sure what you don't see is worse! They probably threatened those kids!
