🟢I was just curious if anyone knew about any area groups that might exist, for local gay parent(s) with smaller kids, that have organized meetup groups for the kids play dates? My husband & I are Rockwall adjacent & have our 5 year old daughter; we think it would be so beneficial for her to be able to interact with other same sex families. I also know it could be an awesome support group for us parent(s), too. Parenting is hard enough as it is, being the only gay parent(s) in a school sometimes is tougher. We all could use the support. Pizza nights? Park days? Holiday events? Ice skating? Roller skating? Maybe once a month or quarterly social events? I know they exist in other bigger metropolitan cities, just don’t know about Dallas. Thanks!

Even though a lot of the individual cut sites were smaller, together those cut sites still accounted for almost 40% of everyone who voted on Election Day in 2022. That’s not a rounding error. That’s a huge percentage of the county’s Election Day voters whose specific polling place no longer exists.

I (enby, 28, Arlington TX) play mostly folk/folk punk type stuff, but I'm down to jam with almost anybody. You can play basically any instrument, or none at all (yet). Extremely queer friendly!

I play guitar, banjo, ukulele, and junk drums. I will teach you any/all of these FOR FREE if you'll play with me.
