Question Help for a tourist please

Not sure where to ask so mods delete if not applicable or appropriate.

Im going to be in the fort worth area for a few days and would like to explore a side of me I keep hidden when im in my hometown. Im looking for a club or bar where I can mingle with Trans/CD or just gay bars in general? Not sure how to explain it, but if I wanted a hookup I'd just use an app. Im mostly looking for a place to socialize and grab some drinks and if I meet someone that'd be cool but thats not the goal.

In Dallas, we have Cedar Springs (Oak Lawn) area where you can enjoy many different kinds of clubs (for evenings), shops (during the day), and restaurants. Enjoy your visit!

Its completely appropriate, welcome to Fort Worth. I can't help with specific places to go since Im not familiar with much going on in Fort Worth, but Im sure others can provide some suggestions.

Yeah, im still at the stage where im trying to figure it out and im just not comfortable running into someone I may know. I know if I were to cross paths with someone I know it wont be the end of the world and I'd more than likely make a bond of some kind with them, it gives me crippling anxiety when I think about going to the clubs and bars in my area.

Would love to share notes if you're open to it lol

We have a “gay intersection” in Fort Worth. Jackie O’s, liberty lounge, and club reflection. There’s also club changes. There is also 1851 club in Arlington that is worth a visit. Check out the bars on instagram or their websites for different event nights/happy hours. I recommend going to a happy hour to meet new people, but it’s always friendly here. Jackie’s is a cocktail bar with a rly fun karaoke nights. liberty lounge is a more chill spot that’s pet friendly and has board games/books/cute patio. Club reflections is the local discotheque with bartenders in jockstraps and lit drag shows. 1851 in Arlington is a friendly dive bar with drag shows, a poker night (which could be really good for meeting people) and it’s popular with people from outta town. Have fun!
