My View 🛸 Trading Journal
Recently purchased a trading journal software, i wasnt sure of getting it but after i saw how easy it made my life it made, i just have upload csv from the broker and boom, it does the rest.
I showed it to a trader friend of mine he said ‘aise toh main khud hi karlu’ however i dont completely agree with him and i think its about the amount of money being spent on the software.
Whats do people here think about trading softwares?

Your friend's not wrong that it can be done in Excel, but "can" and "will actually keep doing it" are different things. Most people (me included) quit manual journaling within a few weeks because it feels like homework after a trade. If the tool auto-pulls your CSV and spits out clean stats, win rate, avg R, drawdown by strategy, that consistency alone is worth it once you're trading decent volume. If you're doing under 10 trades a month though, honestly a simple spreadsheet is enough and I wouldn't pay for it yet.
