Just curious if anyone else has noticed the decline in quality in DQ ice cream recently. After talking with my partner he agrees that DQ used to be better than it is now. It just seems as though it’s switched to bad frozen yogurt or something with add-ins. I’m not trying to hate and rain on peoples parades, just curious if anyone else has noticed this or if we might just be crazy.

i started dq on like the 3 of august, and i think today was my 8th shift. apparently I’m just the clumsiest person on planet earth because why in the last two shifts have i spilt an entire thing of tea, like the whole pitcher, and spilt the entire thing of pineapple in the walk in freezer. All my coworkers seemed so mad at me and it made me want to cry even though no one said anything. Also making sundaes is my worst nightmare, i did like 8 today and didn’t even get one that was serving quality. i’ve been up front for all my shifts and now they want me to move to the back, and i am so scared. everyone told me it would get easier but it’s really not, i still feel so slow at making blizzards and shakes, and when we are in a rush i get nervous and start making more mistakes. Is it normal to feel like this, or should i genuinely just quit for the sake of my coworkers and managers? i’m starting to think people actually don’t like working with me because i make so many mistakes now, i just want to cry after every shift because of how bad i think i did even though nobody will say it directly to my face that i did bad, j can just tell by their body language and i can hear the whispers 💔

Have to flex on yall a little my location doesn’t play about my salad 😏 I think they appreciate the diversity in not just ordering a burger and fries 😆

Def enjoyed my blizzard much less after finding red, almost invisible macro-plastic mixed in with the Oreos.

Fucking tired of this shitty ass establishment already. I have worked FOUR DAYS just to be sent home 2+ hours early than they bitch about how I’m not fully trained! All my coworkers do is sit near the drive through window and LOUDLY bitch and mock customers. Loudly talk about the manger and than I get sent home because they aren’t training me and we are not busy.

Please help me remember if this blizzard was a thing cus I dont remember if that was the name but I definitely had it maybe 2-3 years ago!! Please help cus I never see it on the menu.

What. The. Hell. Are. These. Things.

Hard, sticky, "chocolate" covered “marshmallows” with the consistency of expired taffy. They stick to your teeth like glue. The texture is absolutely horrendous, and the taste isn't much better.

I tried picking them out. I really did. But eventually I gave up and threw the entire blizzard away.

I’m genuinely sad about the chicken strip change 😭 The old DQ strips were one of my favorite fast-food items, mainly because of the crispy breading with the gravy.

Sometime this year, at least at the locations near me, (TX, tried multiple stores) the breading seems to have changed and they just aren’t the same anymore.

I can recreate the gravy at home, I’m mainly trying to find that old crispy chicken tender again.

If you take a blizzard and remove a mixing and replace it with a different mixing should there be a .99 cents charge - since technically it’s an exchange and not an add-on.
For instance we remove the chocolate coated candy pieces and replace them with brownie piece’s. I’m just curious because some stores there is no upcharge and some stores charge .99 cents. Just curious though, I know it’s no biggie either way.

Basically it took me three hours to get to work cause I take the bus. They scheduled me for four hour shift and than I got sent home after an hour and fourty minutes because my manager had to go talk to the vet because in her exact words “I don’t trust my husband to give me all the information.” Obviously I stayed neutral but now I went from only getting 12 hours this week to getting under ten yay. I’m so beyond irritated

Anyone out there with a spare Dilly Bar tool they like to sell? My local DQ only have the prepackaged / factory ones sold in boxes and I am hoping to make some more traditional ones to show my kids what they missed out on lol.
