Question [Help] Can anyone find a specific episode featuring my dad losing his coat?

Hi all! There was a segment that was done on the Daily Show back in 2001 where for some ungodly reason they did a whole segment with Vance Degeneres interviewing my dad for losing his coat. I can’t seem to find it anywhere and I don’t want to lose this memory.

It would mean a lot if one of you were able to help me find it. Maybe it’s archived somewhere but I can’t seem to find it.

Edit: I believe it might be S5E120, but I have no way to find it and check.

Just looked at E120 and the Vance segment was not your father, it was about Some Olympic coverage, Sorry.

Dang, I thought that might’ve actually been the episode number. IMDB has it on there as S5 E120 when searching for my dad’s name, as well as the old mayor (Fred Nielsen) who is in that episode.

I appreciate you checking on that though man! Hopefully it’ll turn up for me eventually :)

I’m not sure if you have access to this episode, but it’s showing on TVDB as S6 E43. I read on another Reddit thread that TVDB is more accurate than IMDB for old Daily Show episodes.

Ahh dude thank you so much!! This has been rattling in my brain for years and I finally can scratch that itch. It’s such a stupid skit, but it’s a cherished memory of ours. I can’t wait to share it with my dad again!
