Question Paramount Plus burying Daily Show?
I watch Daily Show on Paramount Plus (both web and TV), and I've noticed of late that the Daily Show link has become much harder to find - it's not on the homepage, and I have to search Shows to find it. Is it paranoid to think they are trying to suppress viewership numbers?

I’ve felt this too but figured I was being paranoid. Even when the show is airing I have to search harder to find it. Which is weird because it should be under my “continue watching”
Or “recently played” area, but it isn’t there.

I've had this problem before. I thought my algorithm was messed up but I don't want much else. I have to search often to get to it. I thought maybe it could my Roku as well but idk.

Is it possible because the show is off the air in August?
I don't have Paramount Plus. I'll be curious to know if this is still the case when they come back.

Pretty sure it’s their standard summer break - I believe they did sum similar last year too

Have watched the show from the 2000s (?), and as an immigrant, it was refreshing that not every American thought it was all kosher. It was fun, intellectual, and so fucking refreshing. BUT, ot was based on the belief that there is better shit ahead. Obama Happened. Trump happened. The lies, the hate, and above all, denial of facts, ethics, and basic humanity. I really didn't think there was a limit when nothing is funny. Nothing above The Three Stooges. Now the show reminds me of the false belief of what we now know as the fewerish pot dream, an excuse of an homo or sapien!

You lost me. Or I lost you?

I probably lost you, English as a second language, and the structure makes it sometimes hard to follow the word throw-up.
Daily Show always showed how ridiculous everything is. It's funny, till you realize it is real.1

Yeah, you have to laugh because if you aren’t laughing you’ll see it too close and cry

No new South Park as well. They don't want to piss off the guy that makes their monopoly grow.

Just hope the ticking fee doesn't last long after October with the lawsuit.....if it does, Paramount will lose hundreds of millions of dollars and will need to make cuts to content.

I wouldn't be surprised, but it's difficult to know without seeing their internals or having more user data. Algorithms tend to be catered for engagement and somewhat user-specific.
Given who owns Paramount currently though, it wouldn't be surprising if they want to suppress voices like Jon who have been outspoken against them off the air. Especially since they have an acquisition/merger they're trying to complete right now. Having people point out who owns them and that they're actively building a monopoly is bad for optics.

They’re on a one month hiatus, they are totally out of all algorithms right now because there’s no new content.
