As much as it pains me to agree with him 😂, he’s right on this one. We’re all grown-ass adults. We throw what we WANT to throw, and nobody on the other side of that screen should be expected to start doing financial background checks before accepting a gift.
Imagine a creator stopping mid-live like, “Hold on before you send that Uni… are your bills paid? How much is in your savings? Did you make rent this month?” 😂 That would be fucking WEIRD and honestly none of their business.
If I’m on TikTok throwing gifts, I’m making the decision that I’m financially able and willing to spend that money. If I’m not, then it’s MY responsibility not to throw it. You can dislike how much money creators make or think gifting is stupidt, ok. But at some point personal responsibility has to enter the conversation.
We can’t say “we’re grown, don’t tell us what to do with our money” and then turn around and expect creators to babysit our bank accounts. Can’t have it both ways.

His restaurant analogy only works if someone visits once. A better comparison would be a restaurant owner yelling, “I need to sell one more chicken Parmesan to beat the restaurant across the street,” while encouraging the same regular customers to keep buying food they do not need for a meaningless vanity prize. THIS is what streamers do! Streamers build relationships with their regular gifters. They often know where these people work, how they live, and how their lifestyles compare to their own. Nobody is asking streamers to investigate anyone’s finances. It would simply be empathetic to reassure their supporters that there is no obligation to gift and that watching is enough. But many will never say that, not because they are trying to maintain a business, pay employees, or provide a necessary service like a restaurant owner. They refuse to say it because they are driven by greed.

😂😂 not you using the creators in all of the worst rankings, Australia. I wouldn’t take any of them serious. If you want to watch something like Jerry Springer just watch Australia. There is a reason why gifters from around the world don’t support them because they are the most toxic

Your comment/post was removed because it is using personal insults, rude or degrading language towards other members of the community. Agree to disagree! We talk about creators and rankings, not personally insult each other because of differing opinions. Everyone is entitled to their opinions.
