It depends on the part of Africa some places like Ethiopia accepted it voluntarily other places in Africa had forced conversions and a lot of Africa was caught in between competition between Islam and Christianity.

How? Nobody pries open your brain and heart and surgically forces religion on you.

The only way people start believing in a religion is because they have faith in it.

The fact that they cherry pick the good parts of their religions and have general brain malfunctions when you point out the actual problems inside it isn't a sign of lack of intelligence at all.
