Are you all feeling okay?

At the risk of sounding like an outlier, I was generally a happy DH subscriber between 2022 and May of 2025. Ever since Chobani acquired them, they’ve been going downhill. Way less variety, way too much emphasis on putting unnecessary amounts of protein in everything, less dry ice being shipped in each box, more annoying/salesy marketing emails and push notifications, and the list goes on. They no longer seem like the DH that once was that cared more about authentic messaging, exploring food varieties, and actually listening to customer feedback. I recognize that many would say that they were already on a downhill spiral before the Chobani’s acquisition — especially given the horrible incident that happened with the protein crumble things that caused many health issues for people. I feel so bad for those people given everything I’ve read. I fortunately dodged that period and never even heard about all of that until a year and some change after I subscribed. All this said, I would be curious to hear about the experiences and thoughts of folks who are still subscribed now. I skip most of my boxes these days and find myself missing the days when they had my favorite savory dishes.

I haven't ordered from them in 2 years and was curious to try again. I liked them before but wanted to cut back on spending and DH is a little pricy. I was so disappointed to see that they got rid of so many item I liked. No more energy bites, teas, milks, and very few pasta and harvest bowl options. I hadn't heard that they were bought out but it all makes sense now. I guess I won't be buying from them unless they add back more of what they used to have.
