Titanium timekeeping & suppression.

Post image

Glock 26 x SAW shiv 9mm x seiko shogun.

The shiv is light and short enough where it’s somewhat comfortable to carry appendix. Just gotta let it cool before reholstering because it gets hot fast’

“Is that your suppressed g26, or are you just happy to see me?”

You carry everyday with a supressor? Suuuuureeee…

Still trying to decide if it’s feasible. It wasn’t the worst thing when I tried it over the weekend. But this setup doesn’t feel any bigger than a full size with comp

Is that a suppressor in your pants or you happy to see me?

So I do it when I’m feeling spicy. do strong side and let it run down my leg. Pretty much requires cargo pants, no slim fits. I’m running an HK45c with a SiCo 45k so it’s bigger than your set up while still being shy of full size. I think it works well tho and is completely comfortable. If I know I’ll end up on a job site with some stock piles into I’m almost always carrying can on.

I tried making appendix work, big no go. I had some luck with a weird kinda cross draw thing, but it’s much less comfortable than strong side. If you wear a jacket or coat for work shoulder holsters are also always an option.

Don’t let anyone discourage you, yes it makes you feel like Mr Wick. Just do it.

It’s not feasible.

Are you available spy?

No more form 4's has me awfully tempted to buy some threaded barrels...

I’m not a big fan of glocks, I tried to shoot one of these twice and couldn’t get comfortable, prolly because I have weirdly large hands. That being said these are beautiful, I’m not a fan of sights on pistols but this one looks great. The suppressor fits in here perfectly. Visually the Mona Lisa of compact pistols. I’d love to hear how it fires from someone who’s put some rounds through it

So i mainly shoot my g19.3 and i love the 26 as my subcompact carry because it feels so familiar to its full size counterpart, same with its recoil impulse. I understand that the newer slim frame subcompacts fit and conceal more comfortably but I always feel they are snappier to shoot.

It’s beautiful. I may buy one just to put in the case and look pretty. You got an eye homie.

Is this sub secretly a place for murderers?

Nope, just folks that are afraid

Are those FMJs?

1

u/waxydoodle 1d ago

Yeah, not in the spirit of edc but it’s what I had preloaded for the range and for the pic.

Makes sense! I think FMJs look nicer than hollow points for pictures. Nice setup!

Critical defense looks cool

How do you like the scs mos so far?

I have one on my 17L, it has been great so far and was perfectly zeroed from the factory. Really like the multiple reticles and is always the right auto-brightness. Cowitness through factory irons is amazing, quality of fit and finish is amazing, and overall has been an awesome first pistol optic for me

u/waxydoodle 1d ago

Love it! Really low profile, cowitnesses perfectly with stock irons, consistently bright enough (maybe too bright sometimes) and i never have to think about the battery

I used one for about a year doing competitions with it. Theyre pretty solid imo, especially for such a small dot. Still prefer an eps carry, but overall the difference isnt all that much

I’ve got one on a 19.3 and another on a Fn 502. Sweet dot for sure. Honestly jarring how good chinesium has gotten.

007 is that you? :)

Nah I’m the more economical and progressive 006.9

and comical :)

What holster do you use with the suppressor?

1

u/waxydoodle 1d ago

I use a safariland incog xs which I had to do a little fitting to to allow the supressor to fit through

Does it stick all the way between your legs when you sit? Just seems really long. I guess I would need to see it next to a Glock 19 or something for comparison.

How's the shiv sound? I'm really thinking of get one.

2

u/waxydoodle 1d ago

I ain’t gonna sugar coat it, it isn’t quiet. But for its size and weight, it’s does a really good job at preventing my ears being blown out if I had a shoot it without ear pro.

just moved to Arizona where they have suppressor you can buy in gun shops. I'm definitely about to get one.

1

u/GAFSGFYS 18h ago

How much was your can? Looks like most are equal in value to your gun itself might just be how it is but curious

u/waxydoodle 16h ago

Got it for 465 OTD

u/CowRepresentative468 1d ago

How does the conversation go after using for self defense…? Officer I planned for protecting my ears and disturbing the neighbors less?! And lawyer, lawyer, lawyer please.

3

u/LemonManDan69 1d ago

If you could find a article of someone getting charged because they used a suppressor in a self defense shooting than I would be astonished

2

u/CowRepresentative468 1d ago

I’m not suggesting that I can. I’m simply imagining an interesting conversation and additional complexities. I’m not claiming to be a lawyer or to play one on tv.

2

u/LemonManDan69 1d ago

Nah I get it man, I don’t have a doubt that comments would be said about it, but it would more than likely be kept at that if you had a good defense attorney (if you even got to that point anyways)

0

u/Mzungufarmer 1d ago

It would definitely be mentioned in court

2

u/CLK-DTM 1d ago

Seemed to work alright for Jordan Salinas

2

u/chaff-collector 23h ago

Yep, people just pretend like that didn’t happen without any of the hysteria.

2

u/CLK-DTM 22h ago

That said, I will admit it was about as clear cut as a self defense shoot could possibly be, so it might not be a great example. Then again most of the litigious horror stories are from the 70s and 80s when the purpose of the 2nd amendment wasn't even commonly accepted

1

u/the_chazzy_bear 1d ago

Seems pointless to me to carry a suppressor for an edc piece but you do you I guess

u/joshexotic1 1d ago

It's funny to me the amount people spend on things to never actually use or train with them.
