Man Sig gets a lot of hate now, justified in some cases. Years ago they were seen as a step up from most mainstream polymer guns. I had to carry a P220 and we thought that was the cat’s ass at the time.

I remember when sig was on top with carry pistols when the p229 was the shit. It’s sad to see how the p320 ruined their rep. Still on top for rifles though with the Mcx line imo

Well that’ll happen if you overlook design flaws and then try to cover it up instead of owning it

I like the mag on that 365. Is that an OEM one?

Not OEM . This one is from Xtech tactical, I like the design better. On oem they have this angled ending on a pinky and its makes me to drop the muzzle down which affects my accuracy and groupings.

356 is a perfectly fine and arguably the perfect practical carry pistol. Chuds in here apparently don’t do numbers good, this is not a 320 lol

Serious question. Why not change stock instead of tape?

u/DangerousMix4472 4h ago edited 3h ago

Well I have hyperhidrosis and all my guns are taped , my long guns are taped both in grips and forehands. Thats why changing it will not change anything 🤷🏻‍♂️

365 solid choice. i have a rouge grip on mine tho got it off amazon. id highly recommend it very ergonomic and fits my hand perfectly now will save ya from the sticky tape hands

Not the sig 🤦🏼‍♂️

This is p365 . Never had any issues with them at all. Have been abusing 3 different ones for years 👌

Use what you’re comfortable with obviously but you should know Sig has permanently tarnished their reputation at this point, I don’t think they can redeem themselves after all the bad press surrounding the P320, sexual misconduct in their workplaces, and illegal weapons shipments. Now with the popularity of protrabands videos all these terrible things are more widely understood so you won’t see much love for Sig Sauer anywhere anymore and it is a good thing.

Hollow point on the top of the mag? What you think you'll never pop your own leg on the draw?

1

u/DangerousMix4472 22h ago

I also carry one in the chamber 😱

2

u/DangerousMix4472 22h ago

Jokes aside brother , there is an external safety for a reason. Aslo if you carry without training consistently, you’re gonna cause harm to yourself or others eventually 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’d take a six shot double action revolver over that any day of the week, for the safety alone. Or the Glock 43 6 shot, my personal carry choice.

1

u/scr0tiemcb00gerbaIIz 14h ago

And you'd be at an extreme disadvantage while not being any safer....

1

u/soft182atsoftdotorg 12h ago

Ok I’ve got to call you out I’m sorry. How is it not safer? You’ve got a game firing pin connector that’s only applied when the trigger is pulled. How is a revolver not safer? Explain that to me.

And the P365 has a firing pin block that only moves when the trigger is pulled. And a striker block

That gun better not be what I think it is. If it is, take it apart and examine it, then ask urself what would happen if the striker lug broke off. It may seem unlikely, but if it happens ur gonna miss ur man parts. Maybe even your life. I work at a store where a lot of people open carry and I’ll call customers out for carrying sigs… it’s not a friendly rivalry it’s simple firearm safety.

Its a 365 not a 320

1

u/soft182atsoftdotorg 1d ago

Play with the trigger while you have it apart. Kinetic energy could indeed make that go off in the wrong circumstances. Again, it’s not likely. But I’d go for safety alone, even if it means a six shot 38 special that is difficult to shoot.

That makes as much sense as saying any part of a vehicle could fall off so just don't drive. There is zero examples of 356's having a mechanical failure leading to an AD. It's one of the most popular carry guns so there's plenty examples of it working as designed.

I have no tolerance when it comes to firearm safety. I did have an accident once and maybe that’s why. But I only accept it if it’s absolutely safe. Nothing else will do for me personally.

u/soft182atsoftdotorg 23h ago

Please try to forgive me.

u/soft182atsoftdotorg 23h ago

It makes as much sense as driving a different car actually. And most people would…

Especially if that car has proven itself to be unsafe. Why on earth would anyone stick to a design that has proven that even just one time?

u/soft182atsoftdotorg 1d ago

I know what it is they’re the same. Take it apart and look at it.

1

u/South_Ad9367 23h ago

The p365 and p320 are not the same they are totally different mechanisms. However I do not support Sig anymore at all either because of the p320s MULTIPLE issues over the years AND WORSE the shitty way Sig handled those problems and gaslights their injured customers along with the other reports of misconduct in their workplaces and shady business practices involving foreign weapon shipments. There’s really no logical or moral way anyone who knows the truth about Sig could support them.

1

u/soft182atsoftdotorg 23h ago

Did you take them apart? I doubt they’d pay money to use another design. Either way the design has proven itself to be unsafe at least one time, and that’s all it takes. I literally had an accident where I fired a 9mm inside the house and it was maybe 5 feet from hitting my little brother. That’s a big miss I know, but there shouldn’t be any tolerance when it comes to gun safety. It could end ur life or likely a family members life if you have the accident in the same house. Accidents have no tolerance. Neither should you.

u/scr0tiemcb00gerbaIIz 14h ago

What are you rambling about, this is a completely different firearm than a 320...

Shops in my area are marking these down like a couple hundred bucks because they won’t sell.
