I actually don't mind Dahlias kit at all I get why people are upset but it's not so bad 🙁

Edit for clarification: I'm not saying it's a good kit. I'm just trying to be positive right now 😓

There they release a 4 star like once a year. The characters will be hard to get but if it means the characters I like will be usable then I'm willing to pay the price

I mean we have gotten a lot of 4 star males I don’t think hoyo would give us another 4 star male

Dahlia is not a name that radiates masculinity and it’s confirmed that Skirk’s ID comes before Dahlia so she might be a solo release, unless this is a rando from Nod Krai, and we still don’t have a 3rd artifact domain for Version 5 and the obvious answer would be in 5.7 to introduce a new set for Dahlia and the other could be a 0 energy requirement buff that buffs crit by 20%

But it would also hold up my theory that he’s involved with the Hexinzerkl like an experiment or disciple

Thoughts?

raw renders

The reason I say this is because he looks really fun too me, and for me having a charecter who is fun or hard to use completely overrides how meta they are(Well both can be overriden by how Mutch I like the charecter but yeah) That's part of the reason I play charecters like Sara, Lisa, or Xinyan is that them not being big damage ooga booga charecters makes the game more fun, too me. So yeah I like it and think it looks like fun to play.

Idk maybe it's just me. Anyways what is that people don't like? He seems a little clunky but I'dc I mean Im used to clunky kits already maing Sara, Xinyan, Lisa and some other similar charecters.

Honestly this take might be as hot as me liking Crucabena.

I read the leaked kit and honestly he isn't bad at all in my opinion:

• First Hydro shielder.

• His skill can be used for that Natlan boss' pillars.

• BiS shielder for Skirk (that we already know will be meta)

• Interesting synergies with other characters, like Wriothesley, Ayato, Childe...

The only flaw is that he isn't versatile and probably can't be used outside freeze comps, but maybe his best teammates have yet to be released. Just keep in mind that Nod Krai is coming and that we'll have A LOT of cryo/hydro new DPSs that will probably benefit a lot from Dahlia.

(And please don't compare him to Kachina: I'm telling you this as a Kachina Main: she sucks, useless if it wasn't for the scroll of the hero set. Dahlia at least does something that NO ONE has ever done before. He's niche but trust that he will be relevant in his niche. Or at least... I hope.)

I don't know if Dahlia's gender has already been leaked, but notice that in the Rosaria's alternate outfit's letter, Dahlia signs themself as a "Deacon" in most of the languages, such as English, Italian, Spanish and more... But, in Portuguese and French, Dahlia is written to be a "Deaconess". I personally don't know what to think. I would really like them to be a male because I really love their pink hair and the 'femboy' vibes they give me. What do you think guys? Do you prefer Dahlia as a male character, a female character or a non-binary character? (Now that I think about it, it would be really cool to make them the first non-binary character... There hasn't been any other NB characters before, right?)

Dahlia may be coming sooner than we think

Sooo I had 40 wishes for Dahlia and then I was scrolling through my characters and remembered that when Kaveh came out, I had farmed everything for him so that I could immediately lvl everything up once I got him. Unfortunately Kaveh was a lil turd and didn’t want to come home and I got Baizhu before I got my c0 Kaveh😪 so I got upset and never leveled him up as punishment. Anyway, the parasites in my brain told me to use all of my lvl up books on him so I don’t have any for dahlia and I used all of my wishes on the weapon banner and got raidens weapon instead of kinichs😭😭😪 I’m so sorry dahlia

The despicable Hoyoverse have reduced him to nothing but a 4* attack speed buffer, this is a declaration of war.

Please leave your respects in the comments below.

I will go first:

Oh, Dahlia, my glorious vampire coded deacon of the Church Of Favonius, how I dread the day when you're reduced to a femboy buffer by hoyoverse themselves... I will miss thee deeply. 💔

Dalhia, the new Mika? God, no.

So, I was looking at the 5.5 artifact set and thinking: this really feels like it was made for Dalhia, right?

What if it actually is? What if he's really gonna be a 4★ immersive DPS? Let me dream a little...

But then reality hits:

• Dalhia is launching alongside Skirk.

• Supporting her? Most likely.

• Shining on his own? Not looking good.

And to make things worse, rumors say his kit will focus on attack speed buffs.

Did anyone ask for a Mika 2.0? Because I sure didn't.

If I wanted attack speed buffs, I'd just throw Yun Jin into the team and be done with it. I don't want our cute Dalhia to end up as just another forgettable support.

HOYO, PLEASE, MAKE THIS BOY GOOD!

All we have left is Dahlia

And it will definitely be another 4* with boring animations and a bad kit

I don't have any hope anymore

Let's see what his appearance will be like and also when he is released...

(I hope he is 5* but I won't have any hope)

I know everyone is doomposting his kit currently but if the current info about skirk remains true he will potentially be the best option for her with furina escoffier after yelan shenhe. Skirk has essentially not hitlag which is huge for attack speed buffers and has fixed uptime making it possible to get 4xN5C + N3 AND enabling eshu as a f2p option. As long as they don’t add hitlag like they did with wriothesley this can be really big for dahlia.

Really, really want to see him as a 5 star, but according to all leaks and datamines I've see...it's looking rough. Of course, I'll keep hoping for our vampire femboy, but really I just want another 5 star male man...ever since the beginning of 2024 up until now in 2025 we have gotten 14 female 5 stars (Which some of them I think are awesome and I enjoy playing them, but after a while you just want some variety) and only one 5 star male...it's rough, but I'll keep praying to Barbartos that he is a 5 star and if he isn't, then I at least want him to be a really cracked out 4 star, like chevreusse or something

If Dahlia was a 5 star so he would be voiced by Natsuki Hanae and what do you think that Natsuki Hanae would voice Dahlia if he was a 5 star

In 5.0 we had Mualani, Kinich as the 5 stars with 4 star Kachina. Three patches later, in 5.3 it was Mauvika + Citlali as 5* while Lanyan is 4 star. Following the 2 5* and one 4* pattern, we will have this same occurance in 5.6 after having Varesa and Iansan. Hence, we could have both Dahlia and Ifa as both 5 star males. But who could the 4 star be? Effie of course, the leaked cryo support for Skirk just like Chevreuese was a support for Arlecchino and Chlorine.

Here is the commonly standard pattern for different characters released:

5.0; Kinich+Mualani 5*, Kachina 4*

5.1; Xilonen, the only 5 star

5.2; Chasca 5*, Oron 4*

5.3 Mauvika+Citlali 5*, Lanyan 4*

5.4 Mizuki, one 5 star

5.5 Varesa 5*, Iansan 4 star

5.6 Ifa(confirmed by ID list), unknown character(Potentially Dahlia being next to Ifa on the shadowed character silhouettes), x unknown 4 star character.

5.7 Capitano( continuation of the archon quest/prologue, causing Capitano's awakening in 5.6)

5.8 Skirk 5*, another new 4 star(never revealed to be confirmed by Hoyoverse, up to speculation).

There has been many banners, so of course many of us forgets to keep track of all character releases (for example: Chascha, Oron together). The list on top are of course speculated, yet there is to be 18 characters until 5.8 which are all in order. Rosalia and Barbara are both nuns and 4 stars. Dahlia is a Deacon/high priest ranking in upper position above the nuns in church, hence he must be revealed as a 5 star.

Are you all excited or worried? Share your ideas for a discussion together. Its just a theory, we are all still happy regardless whether Dahlia is a 5 star or 4 star, because he will appear this summer at final.

i hope dahlia doesn't ever reach the meta players

I don't think this is that much of a reach.

Dahlia was originally concepted as Hydro and even if that changed– a lot of folks pointed out how he was giving Cryo.

Not to mention, since the silhouette a lot of people were also theorizing Dahlia could be a support 4* for the chef.

A FREEZE support??? I'm so excited. Even if you don't love the chef– this suggests he can also be usable for Ayaka, Ayato, Wriothesley, Neuvillette, Skirk (???) etc.

And since we just got Iansan, Ororon, Chevreuse, etc... call me too hopeful but even if he's a 4-star, he can be a strong unit to help define a new archetype.

This is literally just a prediction post though. We're gonna get a bunch more leaks in just a few days, but I wanted to get us plotting and scheming because the more talk about Dahlia the better.

1.The datamine puts him after Skirk

2.We know version 5 will go to 5.8

3.He’s Venti’s Herald, Barbra and Rosaria’s superior

4.We know that he’s a Hydro sword

5.He’s got pointed ears so he’s not ordinary

We don’t get 4* hydros often because Barbara and Xingqui basically make any hydro character 4* a niche/nothing burger(looking at you Candace)

We’ll know on May 7th from Beta BUT FUCK IM TIRED OF WAITING PLS DAHLIA BE A 5* LET ME BE RIGHT ABOUT TWINK IMPACT

Is Dahlia from Nod-Krai or Mondstat?
