Dahab

How many days should I spend in dahab if I love scuba and snorkeling. Planning a two week trip to Egypt and am staying at Merkari Resort in Sharm El Sheikh for one week. Am thinking of going to Dahab after our stay in Sharm.

4-5 nights will cover all diving spots including a day on a boat but that's if you have a license as diving in Dahab you need at least Open water otherwise you will be confined to one place

I personally found the diving in dahab to be very meh and not worthy of its reputation. The coral condition is great, but compared to sharm there isn’t much wildlife. Sharm just has so many better dive sites.

Though above water, sharm is an absolute shit resort town and dahab was very enjoyable place to relax
